Chef Mickey's & MK Fireworks??

We were going to plan a dinner at the California Grill and watch the fireworks, but with 5 small children in our group we have decided to switch to Chef Mickey's.

After dinner where can we go to get a good view of the fireworks.

I remember reading about a balcony? maybe at the California Grill that guests can walk outside and see the fireworks.

Can anyone give some specifics??
