I have been there for breakfast. How is their dinner and are the characters still there? What kinds of food is there for dinner?

Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.

We had dinner there last year and were less than impressed - there are a lot of mixed emotions on this - but I think most agree that it is best for breakfast

We ate there for dinner in Dec. This was one of our best meals. We highly enjoyed it. I agree CM does get mixed reviews. I think everyone is different and you have to make up your own mind.

Some of the food we had was: peel and eat shrimp, pork loin with wild mushroom sauce (I didn't care for this, it was cooked with a wine which I didn't like), baked chicken, baked fish, parmesan potatoes (yummy), & ravioli with alfredo sauce (yummy). Kids had: chicken tenders, pizza, mac & cheese. Desserts were: chocolate mousse, key lime tart, fruit cheesecake, sundae bar, cookies, sugarfree brownies and fruit. This will definately be a place that we revisit.

We just ate there a couple weeks ago, once for breakfast and once for dinner. My kids loved it!!! We tried to go more, but they were booked full. That is definately one of the places we will make extra PS's for when we go back!!!!

We (myself and DD - 8 yrs old) ate there for dinner in May - for her birthday.
We had a horrible experience.
It was a zoo. They put us in a back room (could not see the large dining area from where we were). She hated the food. And the characters literally breezed through the area (no interaction at all).
It was way too crowded at the buffets and the dessert counters were a mess (people letting their kids just put their hands on everything) and serve themself (when they were too little to do it).
We will never go back to Chef Mickeys.
We have friends who love Chef Mickeys and have gone a bunch of times and loved it. They also get special attention from the Chef, since their children have severe food allergies.

We love Liberty Bell Tavern, Cinderella's Royal Table, Cosmic Rays, and a few others - but not Chef Mickeys.

Last week, we had our 5th visit to Chef Mickey in the last 9 years. Ironically, we have been seated at the very same table the past 4 visits.

I was truly disappointed this time. The only food I enjoyed was the mashed potatoes. The character interaction was minimal but that could be because my daughters are now 7 and 11, and the characters have more fun entertaining the toddlers. Also disappointing was the fact that our server came to the table once to check on us, and plates were piling up everywhere without a bus person coming to clear them.

To me, the food was on par with an "Old Country Buffet" or other buffet chain. The restaurant itself is looking a bit run down and in need of a rehab.

Our bill came to $125.OO including tax and tip for DH, DW, DD11, and DD7. We could have had 2 trips to Chile's for that price and would have enjoyed much better food and service.

We enjoyed it last year. When planning for this year, it was the one place my 15 yo cousin asked to go back to eat. We're going there our arrival night.

We ate dinner there end of April. I would have to classify the food as 'really yucky'. Not just one thing, but everything!

I think every one has different opinions....guess you'll have to make your own. That's what I plan on doing.
