I used a TA, is there anyway I can check my balance without having to go through my TA? My fiance is freaking out, and worried our TA is trying to rip us off. I had her apply a bunch of giftcards, and he just reassurance that she is actually applying them!

Did she not send you a new, updated total balance once they're applied? I had my original balance, what was left after our first payment, what's left after second payment, and her numbers match up with what I had calculated myself.

She said it would take her a few days to apply the cards, and then she would. But he thinks thats weird... I completely trust her but he is being a worry wart..

My TA is also a full time teacher and a mom of three and her husband is often away on business… so I'd not be surprised at all if it really did take her a few days to get to it. I try to let mine know that I'm ready to make a payment and ask when a good time for her is so that I know it can be applied right away.

Yeah that's what I did. He's just worrying for no reason. Just wanted to make him feel better.

Now i'm starting to get worried too :/ I just asked her cause I wanted to make another payment, and wanted to make sure there was no issues with the giftcards and she said she was almost finished had 3 left to go. I checked all the cards again and none have been used :(

I would give her a few days and check your balances again, then contact her if they still haven't been used. I always feel it's best to be upfront & honest. Remind her this is your honeymoon and you have a lot to coordinate besides just planning this trip. You need to be able to count on her.
May I ask, why did you use a TA for a Disney trip? It's pretty simple to book on your own. Is she offering anything special in return?
I use a TA for Disney cruises. Not that I need her but mostly because she gives us onboard credits as a thank you for booking with her. Depending on the length of the cruise that's $100-200 per cabin. So for that much, I feel it's worth the headache to relinquish control.
If after a few days your gift cards are unused, I would call Disney and explain the situation. It may be difficult to have a reservation taken away from a TA but if you're being scammed financially, you might have a good case. Do you have some written record of when you sent her the gift cards?

We used a TA for a few different reasons. I've personally only been to Disney once and didn't have any role in the planning, the same with my fiancé. Plus the wedding planning, I'm in school, etc. We just figured if we were already paying for it then we might as well take advantage. I have all our correspondence via Facebook messager. I'm gonna give her till Wednesday and then go from there. She came highly recommended in the Disney fb group, so that makes me feel a little better.

I was just sitting here thinking about it actually... If that was me I wouldn't wait weeks/months to do things for my clients because what if I got confused, etc. I know she is working with other clients currently. I'd be worried about not putting in their magical express info.. I'm not a confrontational person so I'm just hoping it all works out. I'd hate to have to cancel our reservation since we got the spring discount :(

I wasn't suggesting your reservation be canceled but at some point if you really feel like your TA is not working for you, perhaps Disney could wrestle control from her and boot her off as your TA. Most people would not want to do this since TAs get paid by commission from Disney and she has already done some work in booking your reservation. Still, you should feel satisfied about the work she has done for you. If you're not satisfied, there are ways to get your point across. I'm not confrontational either but if this is causing you more stress than it should, she is already not working for you. Maybe you can shoot her a message with something like, "Making these payments has us stressed out. Can we get a statement from Disney showing our balance due once you apply the gift cards? It will really relieve my worrying." It's honest without attacking.

Oh no I know, I just at this point would rather handle the reservation myself so I KNOW stuff is down :/ I asked her to let me know as soon as she was finished because we wanted our balance and to make another payment via bank card. This is more stressful than I would of hoped..
