check your waitlists!!!

I got a message from MS last night saying our waitlist at the BW had come through. I called this morning thinking it was for our May reservation (we are currently booked in SV, but were on waitlist for BWV), however it was for our Nov. waitlist.

When talking to the CM, we discovered that my past waitlists were all incorrect. When our waitlist for SV came through for May, I asked to stay on the waitlist for BW view. But, she never put me back on that list. In addition, I have a waitlist at either BWV or BCV for Jersey Week. I clearly stated we needed all the nights, not to waitlist individually. But the message was about just two of the nights.

Thankfully, the CM today was extremely helpful and got it all straightened out. The only thing is, I can't help but wonder if that BW view came through in the past month I thought I was on the waitlist.

Oh well, we are still going "HOME" and that is all that matters!!!

I now call back after my wait list request is made because I have found on multiple occasions that my request was never placed. I have also found that once I am actually on the wait list I usually get what I am waiting for. So always call back and just double check that your request is actually in the system.
 
[SIZE=+0]Thanks for reminding me about this. I changed two of my waitlists and should call back to verify. I've had the same problems re: waitlists. Sometimes they just don't put your request in correctly, so it's a good idea to call back later and double check.

Also, remember that often times, you'll need to call back around 30 days out to request to remain on the waitlist up till 7 days out. Otherwise they may automatically cancel your waitlist.[/SIZE]
