I was just online looking at our flight info... we leave in 3 weeks! Anyways SW is running a deal right now and the price on our flights dropped (We bought with points). I changed them to the new pricing and I was refunded 14,000 points. That is enough for another flight! I was so excited!

If you didn't use points.... our flight from Providence, RI to Orlando is only $96 each way! It was about $180 each way when I booked in September.

I just purchased tickets round trip from Austin to MCO for $179 round trip on Southwest about a week ago! Woo-hoo! It rarely gets that low! So excited!

My return flights (3 total) went down 1500 each! 4500 points now brings me back up to enough points for a free one-way ticket.

I don't know whats going on, all fights around ours have gone down, but our flight has gone up and not moved. My brother is hoping to change to the later flight but that's the only flight that is going up..I hope it will go down within the next 2 weeks, but we all no that will not happen. He missed getting the same flight as us, he swears because I check it too much that's why the flight went up not down. He said it wont ever go down if I keep checking it. I have to check it, how will I know if it went down if I don't check it.

Our flights from Long Island went down $20 each way, so I rebooked for the $80 credit..not bad!

I know, I check multi times a day I saw your ticker, we both leave in 3 weeks 1 day
First time stay at SSR for us, Boy I hope I like it. We tried for BWV, and AK with no luck.

How do you get the refund of points?

I logged onto my Southwest account and when looking at your flight info there is a change flight button.... when you change the flight if the points are less than you originally paid the points will be refunded to your account. Or I am sure you can call.

I agree with "keep checking". I checked mine again today and they went down another 600 points each from 2 days ago. We are about 30 days out. Good luck to all!

How do you get the refund of points?

Log into website
On right it will say change ticket
Change flight to the same flight you already have booked
It will deposit old points and charge new fare

Before you do it, just make sure it has enough seats at that fare. You could have 4 tickets, but only 2 are available at the cheaper rate. If you put in all 4 at once, it only gives the higher rate.

I'm 23 days away, and its gone up from the 8220 points I paid for OAK-MCO to 10280. Would love to get on a flight that leaves 10 minutes before mine and gets in an hour earlier (shorter layover), but not enough to pay an extra 2000 points for ... will keep watching though. And my return flight just keeps going up from when I bought it on the first day available.

I scored R/T tickets from Omaha to MCO 2nd week Jan. 3 tickets for a total of $633!!!! I surprised my girls with 4night/5day trip from jan12-16. Total trip cost for us $1800. We are excited to stay at The Art of Animation too.
