My rate for May 12-15 is now under $50!!

Plus I have a free rental day coupon I earned last year ($2.84 svc. fees & taxes) so 4 days = $52. That's only about $13/day!!

Now if I could just get the gas costs lower!!!

thank you joy. i checked mine and just canceled my original and rebooked at the better rate. mine went from 134.69 down to 89.03 for the 14-20th. i guess it would of been too difficult for them to send out an email stating that your rate has gone down and we're going to automatically change that for you...i know wishful thinking on my part...LOL

Thank you for posting this! I was able to get a much better rate using National. I was originally using Budget renting a mini van from August 16 - 19th - dropping it off early in the am. Minivan with budget came to $227 with taxes. Minivan with national came to $166. Since we are needing two vans this is a nice savings.

Using that Emeral Club code, the WWEB rate code & a $30 off coupon from Rentalcodes.com, I got the rate for a 10 day minivan rental I booked just this morning down from $413.xx to $367.xx!

Mine went down $47 by rebooking and I too cancelled my Alamo ressie..I am just leery of Alamo is all, too many bad things about them. Even though I use National all the time, I really do not care to rent from Alamo..glad National went down as I have always been very pleased with National...

For May 13-19 I was at 159 total It went down to 134 yesterday and now it was at 108 for emerald aisle today. SInce the price had dropped so much, I decided to up grade to full size- Guess what! Full size was even cheaper at $104 ( emerald aisle code and $20 coupon nd41). So $55 saved and a larger car
