thank you joy. i checked mine and just canceled my original and rebooked at the better rate. mine went from 134.69 down to 89.03 for the 14-20th. i guess it would of been too difficult for them to send out an email stating that your rate has gone down and we're going to automatically change that for you...i know wishful thinking on my part...LOL

And what did you use to get that rate with Alamo?

i used code 7011339 and coupon d24c it was through mousesavers printable coupon. but since i booked it is has gone up about 200.00. now it is up around 278.00
i got very lucky.

Kim, I have an 8 day reservation, mid-size SUV, 5/23-5/30 (early arrive, late depart) with Alamo that I made several months ago, using that 7011339 and d24c. $115. Today the rate is almost $300 for that, and National seems just as high, regardless the code/coupon I put in. Just an FYI.
