If you work or are retired from GM, you can get kind of a front of the line entrance for Test Track. Just go to the GM desk and show id. We do that when my dad comes to WDW with us since he is a retiree. They take you the back way and then to the front of the line.

Sometimes its not directly through your work. I found out about the verizon discount by asking at verizon when I was upgrading my phone. So sometimes it just pays to ask if a particular company offers a discount to employees of another company.

When I lived in CA I got a huge Disneyland discount, but I found it was still cheaper to buy a SoCal AP.

I get a 23% discount on Sprint here and even though I am not currently working, they said I can keep it!

DH doesn't get discounts on things like that, but he gets freebies to all sorts of local professional hockey events (box seats and food included!), local bb and football teams, golf championships, NASCAR, you name it. They also send us boxes of Omaha steaks and give us gift certificates to various places throughout the year. His phone (only his) is FREE to him.....I only got a discount!
