Chat not working - alternatives?

Hello everyone, so on the WDW site, back in the day I was always able to click on the chat section where you talk with an online agent who can answer questions. Now, the option is always unavailable saying they are helping other guests, however it says that every day and is never available any day of the week. I assume it's no longer available. Anyone else have this problem? Is there any way to talk with an online agent through a chat, not phone call?

It's not available right now, likely because wait times are atrocious so they've disabled the chat.

For most inquiries your limited to the phone, but you can try to e-mail them as well (you'll likely have to call).

I usually just keep hitting refresh till it becomes available but lately that has been taking 30-45 minutes till I’m able to click on the chat icon

im not using it today but I used it last week. But it literally took me refreshing the page for 30-45 minutes until it became available.

Depends on the time of day - I check every now and then and it usually becomes available at some point. I find the most success at 7 am Eastern time

I was able to chat yesterday after it was "greyed" out for a bit. Just refresh the page every now and then.
