I told myself that we're not going to do too many character meals, since the food is usually just ok (paying for the characters), so I'm picking just a couple....can you help me?

We're defintely doing Chef Mickey breakfast for our first morning there in July (did the same thing in July 2000) and it was a great way to start off the vacation...CM had the major characters there..what other meals do you recommend - for the food, cost and/or different cast of characters from CM? Cindy's? is it worth it? I have a 6yr DD and 9yr DS, and 3 teenagers (that don't really care), so it's more for the little ones...

THANKS for your help. :earsgirl: :earsboy:

I loved the Garden Grill at Epcot. I just think the place is amazing...........you do not realize you are turning and then when you are done you are back at the beginning.............mickey chip etc were there and food was good. I have read somewhere to do teh ice cream social to have the same thing but cheaper!!!

I LOVE  the breakfast at Crystal Palace.
If you get an early PS such as 8:05 am, you'll be able to enter the MK before the public. There's nothing like being able to walk down an empty Main Street, which makes for great photo opportunities too! :flower:

There's Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore. The character interaction is amazing. Piglet and Pooh spent so much time at our table because it was so early. Pooh even started a parade around the restaurant with the kids, it was so cute!

The food includes: Piglet and Pooh waffles, pizza, hard boiled eggs, strawberries and whip cream, melon, grapes, bananas, bagels, croissants, chocolate muffins, blueberry muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheesy hash browns, breakfast lasagna, pancakes, made to order omelets, made to order pancakes (they'll even make you Mickey Mouse pancakes!), walnut crumb cake, raspberry crumb cake, various cereals, biscuits and gravy.

Our server was so friendly and explained how the buffet worked and what was on the buffet.

Garden Grill is fun and relaxed. It wasn't packed like some of the others we've been to. The food is good too. This was one of my Husbands favorites. The characters came around the whole time we were there and were really friendly.

Another vote for CP  -- and I second the suggestion for an early PS -- it's pretty cool walking through the park before the masses arrive.

Heres a vote for Ohanas at the Polynesian!!! Their food is FANTASTIC, they are so helpful, and the character interaction has always been great! The last time we were at WDW we got there rather late (slept in *sheepish grin*) and had Chip and Dale all to ourselves! And we were 20 at the time! Poor DH (he was the bf at the time lol) kept getting his hat stolen by Dale and then Chip would chase him around the tables trying to get it back for him! It was great!

Liberty Tree Tavern's character dinner is good!! The food is served family style!!

I would recommend it!!
