HELLO ALL,

I am not sure if we should do more than one character meal and which one we should do. Honestly my DD5 LOVES Ariel and the other princesses. MY DS3 would most likely think Mickey was cool, but he hasnt selected really a "character" yet.

MY DS likes cereal and pancakes, but it seems that most of the breakfasts only offer scrambled eggs, which isn't going to happen. We could do lunch or dinner, I just personally prefer to cram a lot of food in them before we hit the parks otherwise they avoid eating when they are too "busy"

Suggestions or tips? I am getting the ddp but I am not sure of where else to eat yet.

The character breakfasts are all either buffets or all you can eat family-style meals. You may be looking at CRT and Akershus for princesses, which are a little different (fixed-price menu meals). Usually you can get a variety there, not just eggs. I know CRT has french toast sticks for kids.

At buffets there will be selection of "bread" items, and you're not stuck with eggs. I don't like eggs myself so I am always noticing where you can get things other than eggs.

Do they like Winnie the Pooh? You could try Crystal Palace. Mickey will be at Chef Mickey's and Tusker House (both buffets). Cape May is supposed to be a good breakfast buffet. No Mickey or princesses, but Goofy and Minnie and Donald are there.

Another good option may be the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare (Mad Hatter and Alice, Mary Poppins, I think Pooh and Tigger too)

I would recommend the Princess Storybook Breakfast as it has a small buffet and family style hot food served to the table. Chef Mickey`s might be a good choice for the Fab Five. I thought most breakfast buffets had cold cereal choices. I seem to remember thinking the $ was a lot if you just ate a bowl of cereal :confused3 But we went to a lot of breakfast buffets because we like to start the day with a big breakfast.

I agree that you should look at Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace...even Tusker House with Donald. Those are buffets and offer a HUGE variety of foods. Not just eggs.
The have pancakes, waffles, french toast (puffed french toast at CP), cereals, breads, meats like ham and turkey, bacon, sausage. Of course eggs too. And usually each buffet has other dishes that are "just theirs". Don't think you will be disappointed.
