Character Connection Versus Disney Characters on Holiday

We so enjoyed the Disney Characters on Holiday Bus. It was so much fun even if it was a bit chaotic. When all the characters get ready to leave and they are dancing on the bus is one of our favorite things. Hope they decide to go back to the Bus.

I wasn't too impressed with the Character Connection. I think it would be a great edition to the Holiday Bus as it's own new character spot, but I don't like it as a replacement. The character connection seemed to be just another Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Goofy, with an occassional Donald character meet. I checked three different day last week, and we usually saw just these common characters. Though finally one day we finally saw a few unusual ones, as King Louie, Gideon, and Prince John were out in the hallway outside the main greeting area. But the Epcot Bus was far better, as it had a better assortment of characters, from what I seen!

We went to Character COnnection on Thanksgiving day. DH asked a CM why they made the change. She said for SAFETY reasons. Apparently it was getting out of hand with guests trying to CLIMB on the bus and others CHASING the bus!!! It only takes a few non-thinkers to mess up a good thing. I TOTALLY understand the change, but they need to add more characters to the "Connection."
