We're looking for a character late breakfast or early lunch not in the parks, on a day we aren't going to parks. We have done Chef Mickey's a lot in the past, but that's it for non-park character meals. Looking for suggestions of ones that are worth checking out? We have 3 kids 7 and under in age.

Cape May in the Boardwalk area.
1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian
Ohana at Polynesian (served family style, so more limited menu)

We just did the Trattoria al Forno breakfast at Boardwalk last week and it was outstanding.

Rapunzel & Flynn Rider, Ariel & Prince Eric. Character interactions were awesome and the food was great. If those characters appeal to your family, I highly recommend.

We like Ohana and 1900 Park Fare as well.

The 2 I had just come across were Cape May or Trattoria al Forno. Glad to hear both of those mentioned!

The kids would like to see Rapunzel, but we will also see her at MK. Would we be better to do Cape May to see Minnie? On the other hand, the non-buffet at Trattoria is appealing.

Any other places we should look at?

If you want to see Ryder or Eric, Trattoria is the place to do it. Why not see Minnie with Mickey in MK (they're meeting together as part of the birthday celebration) and skip the Rapunzel visit in MK?

Off dining topic.... but we have a FP to meet Mickey at town square at MK, is Minnie now with him there too? That would be great!
