I am considering switching our itinerary for our upcoming May trip due to the AK Rivers of Light / evening activity delays. However, we have never been to AK, so I want to make sure I am planning enough time for that park.
I would love to get some opinions on what you think about the following options:
Original plan
Friday:
MK all day
Saturday:
DHS morning
AK afternoon/evening
Option 2
Friday:
AK morning 9 am - 1 pm (is this enough time?)
MK afternoon 2pm till evening (BBB reservation for DD and Pirates league for DS - 4 pm)
Note: this is an early magic hours day for MK
Saturday:
MK morning till early afternoon - I was able to secure early ADR in MK; however, this is also a day they are offering the early morning magic in fantasyland. Is it reasonable to keep this ADR and try and beat the rope drop crowds at 9am to the opening Frontierland instead?
DHS afternoon / evening
Option 3
Friday:
MK all day
Saturday:
AK morning
Another park TBD for rest of afternoon/evening when we finish at AK
