I got all my (week after Thanksgiving) ADR's at the 180 day (190 with resort ressie) mark for 10 guest's. 2 guest's have made the decision to cancel due to the loss of a job. I am leaving their resort ressie in place until early November just incase those 2 guest's can go. We are dining OOP & have ADR's at: Chef Mickeys, Sci-Fi, Crystal Palace, Ohana's & the Princess breakfast @ Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. I do not believe any required a credit card.

Would you call and change the ADR's to 8 guest's instead of 10 or would you just let it ride & show up with 8 guest's?

Just leave the reservation at 10. When you arrive at the podium, they will confirm the party number, tell them you only have 8.

If you try to call and change the party number they will make you rebook, so you may lose your current ressie time.

Even if there is a CC guarentee they won't charge you as long as you show up for the reservation.

I've done this several times before with no problems. Just make sure you don't do this at any pre-paid meal (like dinner shows & Cinderella's royal table). They require canceling party members in advance to get a refund.

Just what I was hoping for. If I have to rebook there is NO availablity except Sci-Fi.

Thanks, Kddisney502. :thumbsup2

You should be fine showing up with 2 less than your ADR.

But you DID guarantee all of those but Sci-Fi with a CC. They shouldn't charge you, but make sure at least part of your party shows up or they will.

Eight of us will make it to those ADR's. I just wasn't sure about how to handle the other 2 guest's.

Thanks, Mom2rtk.

If it's not a prepaid reservation (don't see that you have any) just show up and say two couldn't make it.

All those reservations except Sci-Fi should have required a credit card hold, but that's not relevant as long as some part of the party shows up.

I'll note the key word of should in there ;) (As in, they should not charge you). With such a large group, and a good number of CC-guaranteed ADRs, I'd suggest you check your account at least every couple of days to make sure extra charges don't show up. While they shouldn't charge you, there have been enough reports around here (although, they've quieted down lately) of them doing just that. It's easy to fix, but better fixed earlier rather than later.
