Changing a ressie---have a question!

Can't believe I don't know the answer to this question, but here goes...

At the 11th month window we booked a SV room at BWV for the week after Thanksgiving, Nov. 26-Dec.1st.

Am now finding out about a huge conflict with dd's schedule.

If we wanted to leave earlier (check-out on the 29th), will I have to cancel the existing reservation and re-book with the new dates? (venture to guess I'd have a better chance at winning the night in the castle)! Or could I just modify the existing reservation since we are still more than 31 days and 7 days out?

Since you are 31 days out, you can simply cancel the nights you won't need and the points will be returned with their original status. (If points were banked or borrowed, they will still have those expiration dates).

I have cancelled days at the beginning or end of my anticipated stay on more than one occasion.

Too bad about DD's schedule - but a leaving a few days early is way better than not going at all!
