Forgive me if this is old news--we just got back from our trip early Monday morning and I'm still trying to make it through all of last week's posts. When we were shopping at WOD last week, a very friendly cast member told us as we were checking out that they are remodeling the 'princess room' in the very near future.

They are making it a 'boutique' for all of our little princesses in training! They can try on the dresses and accessories and also get their hair done in princess fashion. It sounds so adorable.....and another way to sucker me in to spending $$ at WDW! :goodvibes

Once again, sorry if this is a duplicate post, I'm just excited about it and had to share!

Well, my oldest DGD is out of the princess stage but I've got a 2yo DGD that'll be ready for it by the time it's finished!lol What will they think of next...

ooh, princess hair styling? that would be WONDERFUL! ever since they stopped doing french braids (aka princess braids) at the barbershop on main street, my dd has been totally bummer... hopefully this will be up and running by january! princess:

as far as the clothes go... my 10yo dd is already 5'2" and does not fit in any girls' sizes so that will be out for her :(

I read on another message board that there are going to be three rooms -- Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique, the Princess Room and the Adventure Room."

The boutique will provide hairstyling, make-up and manicures to transform little girls into their favorite Disney princesses. The Princess Room lets young guests try on princess outfits. The Adventure Room allows boys to build pirate hats or skulls, play the latest video games, and find clothing and accessories for pirate, cowboy, superhero and space explorer costumes.

What about dads of DD's?? Can't we be included too?? ;)

All I heard was that is was at the Main Disney Store (Wonderful World of Disney) Downtown Disney.

My girls are so excited they cant wait!!!

Apparently when you outgrow the sizes. :(

Though I admit, I did manage to squeeze myself into a XLarge girls Princess T-shirt from WOD last March. I don't dare machine dry the thing for fear of shrinkage.

Why oh why, can't Disney figure out princesses come in all shapes, sizes and ages?!

I would love to see larger sizes. I have an 8 yr old neice who wears between a girls size 14-16 and a junior 3, depending on brand. She loves it when I find a child wearable adult small t-shirt for her. Unfortunately, those finds are infrequent as she really wants princess, not pooh or mickey.

My DD WILL CODE!!!!

When is this going to open???? PLEASE don't say next year!!!! :confused3

Is this just for kids??? This big princess wants her hair done too! princess: :rotfl:

What a great idea. Me and my friends will all be 21 and 22 when we go in October...and we like to be princesses too! Haha, we'll save the fun for the little ones though.
