We changed our December 4 to December 12, 2004 trip resort from the Grand Floridian to the BoardWalk Villas.
Was this a smart change?

I guess that depends on what you are looking for. I am traveling with young kids who LOVE MK, so we are staying at the Poly on the monorail, so for our next trip I probably would have taken the GF. However, if it were my husband and I, or if the kids were older, I probably would like the BWV. I don't think you can go wrong either way, they are both beautiful resorts::yes::

Since you are in the Villas, did you go with a studio or a 1BR or even larger unit?

thanks

We are going with the one bedroom villa. My folks will sleep in the bedroom and my sis and I will sleep in the queen sleeper sofa.

Is that a smart idea????

Excellent choice - did you get Boardwalk view or Preferred Garden/Pool view? The queen sleeper is decent and it is great to have a full kitchen for snacks, fridge, cold bottled water so you do not get hit for the $2.50 bottles in the parks ec.

I think you made a great choice but you may not be able to go back to a regular hotel room after that trip ;)

Cheers

You will love the Villas and the whole Boardwalk area. That time of year, there is a lot of holiday cheer around the Boardwalk. Plus, you can walk to Epcot and MGM. (We will be right across the lake from you at the BCV's) Have Fun!:D
