Just checking the point schedule, and I saw that part of March, while entirely "Magic" season now, is going to "Premier" season in 2005. That is, the latter part of March, probably when Disney expects college spring break. Anyone else notice that? For anyone who's been during college spring break, how were the crowds and the weather? I'm sure it's pretty busy, but how does it compare to, say, summer. At least it's not as hot, so it can't be any worse!

I think the change is Easter is early on '05, on Mar 27. Premier Season has always " Floated" to include the 2 weeks around Easter, so this is normal.

I think that the change is due to Easter, not Spring Break (although they tend to coincide). It is usually very busy at WDW during Easter, but we've had fun the two times we've been there for the holiday...

Oops! I must have been posting at the same time as Bill! :o

What he said ;).

Thanks, that explains it. Also, I just went to DS's college website and saw that Spring Break, 2005 is the week before Premier Season begins. Whew!

It's because my spring break happens Holy week in '05, I'm concerned about getting the ressies at Vero. March has always been the high point time there, but because of Easter, it may be busier. Maybe we'll have to have an add-on to make the ressie at 11 months out.

That's the drawback with Jesuit schools, isn't it Bobbi ;) (wife is BC Law alumna). As for your add-on, there are looking like some really good resale deals for Vero, which is a little unsettling when considering purchase. Of course DVC management will still sell you VB points for $74 per point then $15 off (net $69 per point) thru Magical Beginnings (selling back 1st yr's pts). I expect the add-on VB and 11 month booking would be the only way we will get us one of those gorgeous Beach Cottages.:smooth: (and I really really want one of those...)

Of course here in Massachusetts as well as in my home State of Maine, spring vacation in the public schools tends to be around Patriots Day (mid-April), so we generally get better point values than states where vacation is earlier.
