Challenge for lurkers

Hello Everyone

I've been a Fan of the Podcast for a good year now, Listened to every show, and even Had my email read by corey on the show.

Before I had joined the boards I had been lurking on the boards, reading all the different threads aswell. I Just loved the way that all you guys and girls had a conversation, I was even on the boards whilst working on college work. I think I spend most of the time on here but dont really mind, cause this is the number one place that I can speak to all my freinds,

Hi everyone - I have been lurking for over 2 years. I love the boards and the podcast! My daughter and I are booked for the Podcast Cruise and are so excited to hang out with fellow Diser's! I am going to try real hard to start posting and get to know people.

Hey-Lo! I am also a semi-lurker. I know a good amount of peeps here. I have been listening from the begining. I used to post more, but I go in and out of lurke-dom (mostly in). I love to read the boards but I am too lazy to post . I just got married this May and I have not put my pictures on the computer yet, but hope to soon so I can post them on the boards. I had a way cool wedding. (We walked down the aisle from music from the Pirates of the Caribbean score, had a mickey n minnie cake topper, I wore a red dress, had music from space mountain (star tunnel), Tower of Terror, illuminations preshow... and all kindsa other cool stuff!) My husband broke his collar bone 6 wks before our wedding so we had to postpone our honeymoon. We will be going to Hawaii next month! We will also be on PCC 2.0! (I was on 1.0 with my pop!) I always think about coming out of lurk-dom more... I cannot make any promises, but I will try. Will get more involved soon... especially b4 the cruise! Love reading all the posts!

I'm a semi-lurker round this board (and most of the others). I read a lot, post occasionally.
But super glad I have these boards to come to, to get a hint of Disney fix (even virtual) any day.

De-lurking for the second time! (I posted once or twice before my trip last year) I still listen every week.

What do I love most about the Podcast? The camraderie. I like it when Pete tells it like it is, good or bad.

I love when Kevin does a review of anything.

John IS a genius, because his best one-liners, I believe, he could not have prepared beforehand.

I love how Corey and Julie share their trials and tribulations with their family.

The Echols are such a fun addition, and I think Max is really paying his dues.

Kathy always has the factual information we appreciate so much.

It's a lot of fun, and I am glad that you are still able to keep up with it.

OK John, your plea brought me out.....I LOVE the boards (it's the first place I check each time I go online) and I thoroughly enjoy the podcast. I listen at night after my husband has gone to sleep and I'm constantly waking him up by laughing too loud.....he gets too much sleep anyway, right?

Thanks for the boards and the podcast - they've saved me money and made me smile - what more can I ask?

We I did delurk and spent a bit of time trying to be active, then I posed a question and got shot down...and to be honest I decided to relurk, there really was no need for such a harsh comment and I just 'walked' away, so at the moment I stay where I am and jump in occassionally. I was saddened when its a Disney board where really people should be encouraging to go away thinking wow I guess I really got that wrong.

But I love the podcast and listen every week and have emailed questions...thanks team

I started visiting the Wednesday night chat a few months ago. My first visit Kevin was in chat and went out of his way to welcome me. The next few times I felt SO left out that I almost gave up. I keep coming back on Wed night, even if only for a few minutes, because it can be really fun (and funny!). Some times I just read along and some times I try to participate. I can only encourage you to NOT give up on chat but I can also tell you it takes many, many visits to start feeling more comfortable. It's not that people aren't nice but there are a lot of inside jokes. As you start to figure out who's who, it gets more fun. Other people also start to recognize you so that helps too. Give it a few more tries!!!

The entire podcast team is going to be at the first MNSSHP on 9/14. We will NOT be traveling together like some giant dysfunctional family but if you keep your eyes and ears open I'm sure you'll run into at least some of us.

Kevin....not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm going to play the "newbie to posting on the boards" card!

I'm a ridiculous foodie that completely appreciates your candor and detail with the restaurant reviews. My question is this: is there a place on the podcast site where one can access your reviews -- in whatever order -- as standalone files? You've done so many that it may be warranted.

(Que Kevin or someone saying: okay Laura, who exactly is going to do this? Are you volunteering?)

Another tip for chat is to try one of the other daily chat sessions until you get the hang of it, they are usually easier to follow and very welcoming too.

Lurker here for over 5 years. As DW calls it..."Are you checking your porn again?"

I refer to it as my Disney Porn as well

I'm a fairly recent delurker in the Podcast forum. Although I've been a listener for years - back to around the first california trip when Julie first became part of the show.

I lurked here in the past but was afraid of joining in where I didn't know people and likewise, didn't get the jokes, but after pucking up the courage, here I am. I usually only hang out on the threads such as my cruise meet date ones.

I've been trying to make it to chat regularly too.
