As "dumb" and cringeworthy as Theresa came off on the Apprentice, it still angered me that L.L. kept calling her dumb and was messing with her head. It just seemed so bully-ish. Like the kid on the play ground who gives a wedgie to the quiet,shy nerd. That is what it reminded me of.

I felt this way too. I think it made Lisa look like a bully. If Lisa was really smart she would have tried to keep Theresa and get rid of her real competition.

I agree with a PP that Theresa's ad was better and Trump didn't want to fire Clay or Lisa. Lisa's choice of clothing was terrible, I don't care how much they said about that hair dryer there is no way they would use her photos. I do think that Aubrey thought she could use her charms on the old man and he would pick their ad. He may of thought she was sexy but with men like him business comes first.

I often wonder if Trump doesn't have a winner picked out from the start. Aubrey kinda of reminds me of Trump, all ego and no talent.

I also agree that John Rich was nasty to Clay.

What was Lisa supposed to do? Ask Theresa which ones she wanted and say, "Sure thing, whatever you want!"? They could have flipped a coin, taken turns choosing, etc., but Theresa never seemed to consider those options. She was a BAD negotiator. BAD. AWFUL.

I totally agree. They are playing to win and Teresa made it very apparent that her team wanted certain models...why should Lisa just hand them over? And what would possess Teresa agree to take the guy with super short hair??

I also laughed when Aubrey said she is responsible for every aspect of the task and if they lose...it's Teresa's fault.

Teresa might have stood half a chance of not being fired if she could have said that the campaign was all Aubrey's idea - that Aubrey thought flirting with the Chi guy was going to win points for her, and it didn't work. Then Arsenio could have chimed in that it was another task as usual - Aubrey steamrolling her way into everything, even going so far as to make herself one of the models.

Clay is a smart player - he didn't set out to make enemies during this show, knowing that if he made it to the end, he'd have to rely on those same people to help him win. He only had words with Penn and Dayana, and Dayana would have tested the patience of a saint. It looks like Lisa ends up on Clay's team. Who else but Lisa wants Aubrey to win? The only people who want her to win are Aubrey and Lisa - just about everyone else should want anyone BUT her to win.

I agree with this completely.
I felt bad for Theresa in that negotiation. I couldn't get over how LL and Clay as well were laughing at Theresa, it was in a way like bullying.

Lisa didn't make Theresa appear dumb. Theresa did that all on her own without any help.

When she realized she was in over her head, she could have sent in Clay or Aubrey instead. But, even that was over her head.

I would say there is a semi-spoiler in that video clip as Lisa was asked about who she thinks might win and she named a person. I would assume that person made it to the be one of the Final 2.

Lisa did confirm that she's menopausal! So I'm glad she realized what her mood swings are about.

In his blog, Clay Aiken said that Theresa is the nicest/sweetest woman on the show.

But it is just not nice. That was my orignal point. If you feel someone is "inferior" to you, you don't go out of your way (which Lisa did) to show them up.

But being on CA..and especially WINNING on CA......have little to do with being nice. And even so, you can be nice and tough at the same time. Theresa wasn't. I actually had DH watch the negotiation scene because he plays poker. He thought it was funny too. Theresa might as well have said, "Here are the models I want. Please play me."

In CA, you DO go out of your way to take advantage of an opponent's weakness and Lisa did that.
