Can anyone tell me the site that lists the days they do the Castle Kiss goodnight?

It is called the "Kiss Goodnight."

In MK, under "Parades & Fireworks" (although it is neither.)



This is a great site to keep BOOKMARKED for future reference.

The following site posts the stage shows, in-park and other on-property shows and their times for the CURRENT week.
(It is updated every weekend.)
The times may be "similar" for other dates as well.

They can do it a number of times.
But, most guests are gone after the first one (or even before the first one.)

I think they do it every night. I've seen it a lot when staying at the Poly and sitting on the balcony. They do it several times. Maybe every 30 minutes or so, I dunno. I haven't timed it.

It is an announcement that says goodnight and some flashing colors/shapes on the castle. At one point, the lights go down the castle and the castle is dark. That's it.

It is Disney's very polite way of saying, "Hello?! The park is closed! Get the hell out!"

IMO, people on the DIS make a much bigger deal out of this than it is. I wouldn't hang around just to see it.

I agree with you.

But since we stay in MK and let the crowds ebb before we exit, it's nice to happen to see it.

Certainly not one of the "must-sees of WDW."

What is the Kiss Goodnight? I've never heard of this.

They play an audio recording with music and an announcer wishing everyone a good night (then some character voices join in the "good nights.")

During the audio track, they bathe the castle in various colors and patterns of light.

The whole thing lasts only 3 minutes.

I wouldn't go out of my way to make sure to stay, but if you're around and can easily duck out of a store to watch it, it's worth watching at least once/trip. If you're just walking around by the hub, it's always nice to stop to watch (otherwise you'll be taking glances and might run over someone who's stopped to watch )

I agree. My family (the nights owls who always "close the parks") love to do a group/hug/savor the moment time and watch the kiss....but all around us people continue to exit in streams, oblivious that something is even happening.
