Castaway Cays Real Name

My son has to do a weather report on any place in the world and he chose Castaway Cay (his favorite place to be), but I know that's not the island's real name. I know the answer to this has been on this board, but I can't remember it.

Can anyone help??

Hi, calhous2. Castaway Cay's 'real' name is/was Gorda Key. I'm not sure you'll find weather reports from there, but the outer Bahama islands should apply. Good luck to him with his report!

Gorda Cay is part of the Abaco island chain.
