Yep!!

This is my all time favorite "in person" but I don't have it digital, it's a scan. It looses so much. I don't think I have the negative either, sad!!

Again, scanned pic. I love the water though... so clear....

I know, not beautiful scenery there. The thing is, to me... this picture is perfect. We've been playing all day. We're looking ragged, but we are totally, blissfully happy!! We've made it over to the adult beach and it's just perfect. It's just one of those "perfect day" shots....ya know?!

Nice. (Pronounced 'Niiiiiiccccccceeeeee' ;) )

Never been there- maybe someday.

*sigh...* I want to go back. maybe if I win the lotto someday, I'll buy my own island. LOL.

This is a good example of a picture that has been OVER POLARIZED. You need to carefully tune the polarizer for each shot or it results in unnaturally dark blue sky. This is especially important with wide angle lens which shows so much sky and uneven coloration.

Interesting Paul that there was no polarizing filter on the lens when shot. The shot was taken about 9:00 in the morning with the sun obviously behind me.

Does this one look better. I agree with you the blue was particularly dark. I originally processed in NX2 then converted to tiff then converted to jpg in photoshop. I did not change any settings.

That's better, but them sky is still seems too blue. Did you boost the color saturation too much? Wrong color space? A polarizer will help to get a blue sky without pushing the color saturation, as long it is not used in excess.
