Hi everyone,

Does anybody have the phone number for the Disney hotel reservations for Cast Members? Somebody told me that there was one just for us.

Thanks! :earsboy:

IIRC, there was a thread a couple months ago about it, and at that time, it was determined that it was a WDW cast member ressie number.

Cast Member Resort Discount Program (Your Other Guest Bedroom)
Cast Members may book rooms at a discount of up to 50% for their use or for friends and family at:
- Walt Disney World Resort
- Disney's Vero Beach Resort
- Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort

The number of rooms made available at this discount is limited, so make plans early.

Cast Members can call (407) WDW-CAST (939-2278) to make a reservation. This number will be available during the Disney Reservation Center's operating hours. However, during busy call periods, Cast Members may be asked to call back during non-peak hours.

When booking a room for themselves or through the Your Other Guest Bedroom Program, Cast Members must provide their Origin and Department numbers or their SAP Personnel Area number as listed in the My SAP Information module on their Personal Tab on the WDW Cast Portal.

For the Other Guest Bedroom program, Cast Members must provide the names of all Guests staying in the room, as well as the primary Guest's home address and contact phone number.

The Cast Member then must present his or her Cast ID or Main Gate or Silver Pass to the front desk within 10 days prior of the Guests' arrival. Cast Members also can fax a copy of their Cast ID (front and back), contact information and the Guest's reservation name and number to the resort within 10 days of the Guests' arrival up to the day of check-in, prior to the Guests' arrival. Cast Members' spouses or registered domestic partners may show a Main Gate or Silver Pass at the front desk when taking advantage of this discount.

Cast Members are not limited to the number of times they may book this special if they are staying in the room. However, Cast Members may only book five reservations a year for friends and family.

Cast Members may only book a maximum of a seven-night reservation, depending on availability.

Well, I identified myself as a Disney Store CM when trying to make reservations at the regular line and was told that I had to call the new Cast phone number to make any CM reservations.

I called to modify recently and was also told that I need to call the CM reservation number. Since I was only modifying the CM took care of me. She said the CM line is for new ressies.

Just called and got a reservation at Pop Century (our first choice)!!!! :jumping1:

Thanks again everyone for all the help!

A CM at my store was telling me today that she has a CM rate ressie for 2005? Coudl this be true? I DO believe her, but I hope it is not some kind of mistake. (It is at GF I think for her honeymoon). I said, rates did not open up yet for 2005 for cast members. She said, yes they are, she called and made them.

Yes, The 2005 rates started today. There are some glitches so not all dates may be loaded. Remember to call the new cast line 1-407-wdw-cast

I'm going to stick this at the top also as I'm sure that a request for the phone number will come up frequently.

The rates are indeed available now. I called the cast line and made my May reservations for 2 weeks at Pop Century at the 50% discount. This is the earliest ever.

I called to make a ressie last week and was redirected to the cast member number....so make a note of that new number.

Suzanne
now spoiled after a night at the Poly!

I called an old number and was told that CM can use the following phone number: 407-566-7488

Thanks Stacy

Has anyone had any luck with that number recently?

I called it the other day when I couldn't get the Hub to work, and they told me unless I was making a reservation for within the next couple of days, I had to use the Hub.

That's frustrating to me, since the Hub doesn't work properly on my Mac at home, and the only time I have, then, to get online is during work hours!:confused3

For anyone who's interested:

I was able to talk to someone tonight, and she told me that they're there until 10 pm. (I didn't ask what time they opened.)

However, they can't make reservations for you on the phone unless you want to book within the next 3 days, or have a group of 8 or more. They can answer questions for you, though...like I wondered why no matter what dates I was typing in on the Hub I was coming up with no availability at the holiday discount - it turned out I was checking always for weekends and the weekends right now have been very full.

I'm a new employee and I have looked at the hub...briefly, but haven't had time to really dive in yet. I've seen where to make ressies for WDW, but can't seem to find DL. Can someone tell me where to find it, if it is their at all. Thanks! :)

jmatlick, you are a "Cast Member", not an employee. :) A Disneyland Resort Cast Member told me that all I had to do was call the regular reservation line to make a reservation with a Cast Member discount at the hotels down there. Does anyone know anything different?
