Cash Discount on Rooms?

What is the cash discount on room ressies for DVC members?

I can't find this info anywhere and I don't have my handbook yet.

When available, it is 25% off rack rate.

Like MinnieGirl said, it's not always available. If they think the rooms can be reserved on points, they probably won't offer them for cash discount. And this is only DVC villas. Not non-DVC resorts.

Case in point, we like to travel Sat-Sat & usually book cash for the Sat inbound & Fri outbound. I was able to get 12/8 on member rate but not 12/14. Things start to pick up around mid-month so not really a surprise. Granted, it is still early & it may still come through but no guarantees which is why we are most likely shifting to Fri-Fri.

Just be prepared either way.
