Does anyone know if the Anthony family still lives in the same home on Hopespring? I thought I heard they were in foreclosure at one point, but never heard much more than that.

I don't get here much anymore. :( DH has doctor appointments everyday now Monday through Friday. Actually somedays he has two. He's not cleared to drive so I spend my days taking him around to appointments. On top of that, his dad fell last week and is in hospital. He chipped his kneecap, broke his hand in two places and broke his neck. It's about a two hour roundtrip for us to go see him so we don't get up as often as we'd like what with the drive time and DH appointments.

I'm trying to catch up tonight via all of your posts.:surfweb: Quite a chatty bunch you all are! I do have a question, what is it that CA got on the stand and told about Lee today?

Thanks!!

Wow, you've been through it! I hope everyone is on the road to recovery. Sounds very stressful for you.

One lawyer just said that if Casey doesn't testify and can get either a mistrial or the case overturned due to ineffective counsel (which I don't think can happen), she can come up with a completely different scenario for the next trial since she's not bound by what Baez said in his opening statement.

That's awful. It's obvious that she supported what he said, but since it looks like that may not play out too well, she could get a chance to think up a better lie. Grrrr....

If she doesn't testify her only hope is a mistrial. She signed paperwork early on attesting to the effectiveness of her counsel and after that added a death trial attorney so as that all her bases were covered.

And I agree that she fully supported what JB has done and after seeing JB today asking GA questions that KC herself had written for him on the yellow legal paper I don't think she should be allowed anything above what she gets here.

Absolutely. I've known of 15 year olds who got themselves to a gyn. People need to stop making excuses for Casey.

Yep. I was one of those 15 year olds. My BFF and I thought we were so cool going into the free clinic. We were there for her but they ended giving both of us a "bag o goodies" to take home. It had condoms and birth control and plunge syringes full of lubricant. We were so mature that on the way home we got into a lube war

Oh yay, someone else to FF through. Still working my way through the recorded shows.
:lmao: It's hard to keep them all straight!

Sending prayers your way.

Cindy got on the stand and was asked if she saw or knew of Lee standing above Casey and grabbing her or something of that nature and she said "no, it didn't happen". The way they have been lately I thought she would throw him under a bus too. I'm glad that she didn't.

OMG!!!! Stop talking people! I've got over 70 pages to go back & catch up on!!! :scared1: :scared1: Darn work!

DH has the TV so I hope Irish took good notes today. :) Off to page 114....nobody say anything til I get back.........;)

Yes, they still live in the same house.

I don't think I could live in that house if I were them. Caylee may have died there and was thrown in a trash bag and hurled into the woods, right at the end of their street. I wouldn't want to drive by that site everyday, to go home to a place where cadaver dogs hit on numerous places in my backyard.

I just don't think I could do it. :sad1:

Yoooohoooooo...tag fairy! ^ ^ ^ :rolleyes1

I'm new to this thread, so excuse me if this has already been said, but I watched some of the trail the other day, and that judge.... he doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed. Listening to him talk for just 5 minutes gave me a head ache! Hope he (and the jury) does the right thing here.... Can't wait till this is all over - I've been following this case since before it was a case!

Judge Perry's knowledge of the law is amazing! He has worked hard to keep this a fair and well in contol trial. Love JBP!

Right at the end when she said she held an umbrella over a child's grave to help the mother she won me over.

I didn't post earlier because we were getting ready to leave the house, but when I heard her tell that story, (and say that it happened what, a few days ago? a week ago? a few weeks ago? whatever) I am pretty sure she told that same story in her death and dying lecture I heard in 2000. I asked DH (he went to the same lecture), and he said it sounded familiar to him too.

Sorry I didn't do any transcribing today :guilty: I got on while GA was on the stand and I felt so horrible for him. And after that I was wiped out from just listening to him.

Which I guess ended up being a good thing because Karioth's testimony would've been so jacked up from trying to type out all the hypotheticals while my eyes kept trying to roll to the back of my head.

LOL! We were a mess by the time we got back to her house. But I have to say it's a good memory.

ETA: Those suckers got some distance!!

I couldn't live there either, but maybe they have good memories there too.

Plus, who in their right mind would want to buy it?

Judge Perry has a very Southern way of speech, and he also speaks slowly and deliberately, like every single word was hand-picked (and I'm sure it was). He does not raise his voice, you must be quiet to hear him.

His facial expressions may appear "sleepy" at times, but he lost his right eye in an accident when he was 6 years old. His right eye is a prosthetic.

Is George's suicide note posted somewhere online? I think that goes a long way in proving his innocence.
