No problem! Unlike many people, I am trying to look at the case from a purely academic standpoint. I guess I have been so inundated with info and pictures from the beginning, that I am just over it. To me, it is just a sad case, like so many others. I am not letting emotion play a part in my evaluation of the trial proceedings.

I think people on this thread are so caught up in the sadness of the situation and the hatred toward Casey that they can't be objective. I know I'll get flamed for this statement, but I feel it is true. I understand where they are coming from, but I really think they are letting their emotions cloud how they interpret things.

Flamed? No. But because your opinion is different from others on this thread, or you have a different approach, we're all emotional and hate filled and not "academically" interested in the case?

And you keep saying you're over this case, and yet out of everyone, I think you're one of the few who has posted on the thread from 3 years ago, all 3 of these threads, and the "why Casey Anthony" thread, where you argued why the Casey Anthony case shouldn't get this much attention, yet you're doing it yourself, as I said, on 5 different threads. I get having a different opinion, but why bring in trying to trivialize other's opinions here?

Whatever. You're welcome to your opinion. Just don't see basically the putdown of most people here.

Never said you were. I'm commenting about our hating Casey and her behavior and hoping that the jury didn't come in to this trial with ideas of guilt and they came in with an open mind. And I started my post by saying I wasn't knocking anyone. Sorry if you saw my comments as an attack. It wasn't meant to.

I am baffled as I came in late today but whoa ... JA owned Bug Boy and intimidated the heck out of me!

Why did they ask bug boy questions about stuff he didn't see first-hand?

If ICA's trunk smelled like death, there's got to be a reason ... and that reason is not garbage/trash sitting in the car.

KLJ27, I sent you an email but thought others might be interested in this question. How are you listening on the radio? Can you give us the station? I didn't think you could listen to television on the radio since the switch to digital. I'm going to be on the road next week and would love to be able to keep up.

We have sirius which has an hln station. They only give trial updates in the morning, but I have noticed them having complete coverage starting around 1. (Different from tv coverage I think.)

I appreciate that you are trying to be impartial. I know that I have very strong emotions. I guess that after 6 miscarages and a failed adoption I find this case to be incredibly sad. I would give anything to have that beautiful child that Casey literally threw away.

Jury selection and voir dire is for just that! I know I would have never been allowed to be on that jury and I wouldn't want to be because frankly, it wouldn't be fair to the defendant. But on this board, I get state my opinions based on a lot more facts and information than the jury will see!

I also think Casey is very lucky to have this judge. He is as cool and fair as they come.

I'm very impressed with the judge. And he is getting them dessert lady. He gets bonus points for that.

At one point JA mentioned that

JA was questioning and JB objected and JA rattled off a case saying it goes to impeachment

Then JB got up and questioned then JA came back and spanked the witness about the looking at photos to determine decomp then we broke for the day
