NG is talking about the shorts size again. Was Caylee potty trained? If so, shorts that were too small for her at one point may once again have fit when she was out of diapers.

Maybe I'm dense, but what is the defense trying to say? That after Caylee "accidentally drowned", Casey and/or George gave her body to someone else to get rid of and that person went and snatched a pair of old shorts to put on her???:confused3 I'm assuming these are the shorts that were found at the crime scene?

The defense is so desperate, it really is like throwing anything and everything at the wall and seeing what sticks.

My DD is 4 1/2 and is so thin she can still wear shorts that are 24 months, 2T, 3T and 4T, pants on the other hand she can pull up to her waist but they are "floods" so she doesn't wear them. At any given time I have 3 different sizes of clothes from several seasons becuase she also likes to have old stuff to wear around the house when she paints, colors etc.

It really looks like the defense is trying to discredit everything. Those shorts aren't the right size, she wasn't in the car, she didn't decompose, that isn't her hair, that tree isn't a tree, the sky isn't really blue.....

Whatever they can to give the jury doubt! ;)

No doubt the defense is all over the place - can't wait to see what bumbling fools they make out of themselves the next few days.

Honestly I don't know what they are ultimately getting at but just know they said that whoever dressed her wasn't familiar with her sizes since those "didn't fit".

I have a BIG 3 year old, she wears some size 5T stuff even, and she can still fit into some 24m pants.

And a shirt she was ironically photgraphed in with her mother sitting right next to her. :rolleyes1

Sidebar: Watching Cindy in protect Casey mode, I'm pretty sure I'd be the same way, if God forbid, my murderer child was facing the death penalty. Very mixed emotions.

Me, too. My heart breaks for Cindy. Her pain is so obvious. No matter what the outcome is, she has lost a daughter and a granddaughter. It's just so sad. :sad1:

Yeah it still seems like she is trying to protect Casey and may not be telling the whole truth. But my goodness, if I was in the situation.... I just don't know. I can't imagine many situations that I would nut support my child. Unconditional love. At the same time, I don't know what it is like to love a grandchild, either. Still sad that she may lose them both.

You know, funny enough I've never thought twice about what I would do if god forbid one of my kids did something bad, illegal. I'd turn them in myself. It's not that I would not still love them, however a crime is a crime and unfortunately if they put themselves in that position I would feel a moral obligation to report it... I feel bad for Cindy, terrible for her, but she didn't help fight this monster in the beginning and now this is what you've got.... it's terrible all the way around.

As for the best prosecution witness, I'm going with Dr. G. she was quite to the point now wasn't she, and she just kept getting stronger as the cross exam went on...

So tomorrow they are providing a translation of "bella vita" and then they are adding into evidence the cans with the smell of death, any chance they will open one of the cans for a dramatic effect before they say "the state rests"

Bolded by me, I don't believe what Jayne said for one minute.

The tattoo doesn't say Caylee's name, initials, anything tied to her. It is also on her back, if I was getting a tattoo to commemorate someone's life I would want to be able to see it easily.

ya but a lot of people get commerorative tats on their back.

some on their arms, some on their chest som hips some legs. there's no "right" place to put one

depends on what it is - the size and were the person feels comfortable with it. not everyone wants tats on their arms where everyone can see it if it's something between them and the person who passed.

My 3month old neice just passed away suddenly last month and my brother just had a memorial tattoo done of her footprints and name. It is on his shoulder, no necessarily easily seen, but a place where he wanted it. He didn't really want a tattoo that couldn't be covered for work or formal occassions.

OK so now that they are about to rest their main case... who do you think was the prosecution's BEST witness?

I will go with a toss up of Dr. Vass and Dr. G.

since i didnt see dr g i'll go with dr v - he was funny, to the point and smart. unlike dippy

The raised heart shaped sticker that was found at the location of Caylee looks to me like a much more expensive sticker than the flat ones found in her room. The ones found in her room can come in packs for example 10 sheets for a dollar and have 20 stickers on each sheet. The sticker found close to Caylee is a much more expensive sticker that anyone who scrapbooks or buys stickers for their children would know this. Casey is very narcissistic and probably in her own weird world wouldn't think a 1 cent sticker would be good enough to place on her daughter's mouth.

Been lurking on this thread for awhile and wanted to weigh in on Bozo's questions about the shorts.

If he says at any point of time during the defense's case "if the shorts don't fit, you must acquit" I am going to buy a plane ticket to Orlando, hunt him down, and smack him. Who's willing to put me up for the night? I doubt if I can get a room thru DVC at this short of a notice.

I could see this becoming a mistrial from defense incompetence alone in that she didn't receive sufficient legal representation.

As far as my vote for best witness so far, I vote for Dr. G. It's pretty sad that some of the most damning testimony came during cross examination.

I was definitely not a fan of Cindy's when all of this started, but it's so hard to watch how much pain she is in. I really do feel for her.
