Casey Anthony NOT GUILTY & Sentencing Thread 6

Sorry if people are so offended by your comments, but seriously, it's been said over and over again on this thread, and in the news, and at the trial, so it appears that those commenting who think the charges were otherwise, are missing it. So it does need to be said again. :thumbsup2:confused3 Boggles the mind.Well, it appears...and I certainly could be wrong :)...that there were some major misunderstandings from observers about the charges. So, it does make one wonder how much they know/don't know. Thanks for posting! :thumbsup2Sure does. This case is like a child murder manual.

A "distant relative" of Cindy's in Texas has offered to take Casey in. No news on whether she'll accept. I wonder if Cindy orchestrated that. I think Cindy wants back into Casey's life. And I don't think Casey will go home...ever. I did wonder if Casey would further rip her parents' hearts out by demanding Caylee's possessions. Not so sure she'd keep them, but she'd take them away from Caylee's grandparents, just like she took Caylee away.

Also, there's a lien against her from the IRS for the $70,000 she owes. She MAY have to pay back some of the money for her defense and possibly the prosecution. Tim Miller is looking into options for getting back the $112,000 Equusearch spent looking for a missing Caylee when Caylee was NEVER MISSING per Baez's opening statement. And then there's Zenaida Gonzalez's suit against her. I hope some or all of that works against her...preferably ALL!

NOOOOOOO we do not want her in Texas!:scared1:

Sorry, but the state of FL reached its maximum on the amount of stupid we allow to live here. On Tuesday, we went over that number by 12 so Casey will have to live elsewhere. Wonder if Guam has any availability?

Thanks I hope this is better than Dr.Drew he keeps cutting Ashton off.

This made me :lmao:. I'm home alone tonight  and I had said outloud, "Sheesh! SHUT UP, Dr. Drew." Then called my friend on the first commercial, and she said immediately, "Would Dr. Drew just shut up and let Ashton talk?" He has gotten a little bit better as the show goes on.

Honestly, I want to know how badly these jurors are going to feel now that they are able to see all of the news reports/print, etc about how pissed everyone is...and how an entire country (world?) knows that she is guilty, but these 12 morons let her go.

From Twitter:

OrlandoCoyote The new term: "Pulling a Baez" will officially replace "Throwing someone under a bus". Which has been grossly overused.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I'm sorry but this new chick Jennifer Ford, juror number #3 is a complete ******* just from hearing her speak for less than 1 min.

If she has a brain in that lying sociopathic head, she won't come anywhere near Texas. I'd be pleased as punch to hand her over to a Mexican drug cartel, but it would never get that far. Heaven knows they love to dissolve bodies in acid, hide them in ceynotes, bury them in the desert, etc. Casey would probably be able to give them a few pointers before they offed her.

Texas is the home of the "he/she needed killing" defense. I'm sure you could get at least one person on a jury here to buy the, "Lord, I don't know what came over me. I saw her and my brain just went into a fog. I don't remember anything after that." Nope, best for her to avoid Texas.

OMG! Just tuned into Primetime and the very first thing they said was:

The first time they voted TWO jurors voted GUILTY for MURDER ONE!

How in God's name did two people feel she was guilty of murder 1 and in the end they voted NOT GUILTY ON EVERYTHING?????>

Because some people are spineless. I'd have said, "Fine. I'm not bending. You change to my point of view or know that I can live with a hung jury. Which will it be?'' At least that way, the state would get a 2nd trial if they wanted.

I don't know---but out of the whole trial...the first thing that comes to mind is Jose's opening statement. That should have been grounds for a mistrial.

I just don't get those who think the jury needed to be handed a smoking gun. The prosecution wasn't required to do that. "Reasonable" doubt is just that: reasonable....not just a shred of doubt, not doubt, but REASONABLE doubt. And it was MUCH MORE than REASONABLE that this sorry excuse for a human was guilty.

The most tragic thing is that this beautiful, innocent child was killed (IMO so I sure wish I'd been on that jury), and her so-called "mother" didn't care about about Caylee the day that she died any more than she does so today. Her only "regret" has been that she's missed about three years of partying. So, unfortunately at least for a few years, she still was burdened by her child.

I think that the prosecution has absolutely NOTHING to be ashamed of. They did a beautiful job. Against all odds, from police being sent on wild goose chases to search for non-existent nannies, etc. to sleazy defense tactics, they presented what I thought was an EXCELLENT case which certainly presented the jury with more than enough to convict.

Personally, I think there were 12 jurors who wanted to go home, who didn't think Caylee's death deserved more than 10 hours consideration in order to actually go back over the evidence and use their COMMON SENSE, and now it seems $$ are in a few eyes.

And they folded in 11 hours? I hope they have a nice time on vacation.....

Cannot believe that juror Jennifer Ford just said "Not guilty doesn't mean innocent."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but not guilty means blameless. Innocent people are blameless, right?
