Casey Anthony NOT GUILTY & Sentencing Thread 6

Well, if they needed A motive, they did not follow the law. If they were influenced by any sustained objection and statements stricken from the record; they did not follow the law.:confused3

I think they spent about as much time reading and understanding the instructions of their duty as they did reviewing evidence.

OOoooooh ... Babs asked if it was accidental drowning and he said yes. She asked if she fell in. He said she found her way into the pool and drowned.

Babs asked "Is this what Casey told you?" and he said "I could never comment on that."

I know he has client attorney priveledge ... but why not just say "Yes, that's exactly what she told me"? To leave it as "I can't discuss that" makes me think that wasn't what she told him! Or how about say "I'm not discussing this!"?

That is called covering for his client. Gives credence to the idea that maybe they suggested what may have happened and Casey agreed...and that Casey is holding out for big bucks to say what "happened".

How stupid were these jurors??? No one told her it was the Death Penalty or Not Guilty. I don't think they even listened to Judge Perry's instructions at all.

I don't think they understood Judge Perry's instructions. How did they not understand that, if they convicted her on murder 1, they didn't have to give her death penalty!?! They could've given her LWOP, 30 years to life ... whatever. Ai yi yi.

ETA: why hasn't anyone asked this juror "Did you realize you didn't have to give her the death penalty even if you decided murder 1?" I hope someone asks a juror this in an interview! Sounds like they didn't understand that point!!!

OMG, I think my head is about ready to explode after listening to Baez & Juror #3 :headache: ... the only nice word that comes to mind describing them both is: DELUSIONAL ... :sad2:

By what happened, you mean continue lying, right?

Add the F-bomb before delusional and you have my reaction to both!

Isn't it going to be a tad bit embarrassing if all the Jury members come across as not having understood/abided by Judge Perry's instructions, unintelligent and barely literate?!

I am not going to watch them though. It's sounds like they are not worth my time. I can't possibly understand their lack of reasoning skills.

Was going to stay away from this thread tonight, because I just need a break from everything ICA (I think we're going to have to change that to "Citizen Casey Anthony" a.k.a. "CCA"), but I keep thinking that's just more I'll have to catch up with in the end. But I keep seeing links that should go in the FP, but it really is a PITA to do at this point. Maybe tomorrow. :)I was just thinking about this tonight, with the speculation that the jurors had been talking. If I was on a sequestered jury, I would be the outcast, because at the slightest indication that anyone was going to say something about the case, I'd be saying "Oh, no, we can't talk about it!" So they'd all be talking behind my back. 1) I'm very honest. :littleangel: And 2) I just about peed my pants when Bird Boy got in trouble from JBP! :eek:Your post is so funny , yet so sad. :(:sad2:NOW we find this out. You could have done some sleuthing around the hotel. Oooo...a maid! Poking through their stuff, and finding out who and what they're saying with the outside world. Oh well...next murderous mother trial. If she moves in next door, you can maybe keep a timeline of what's she's doing so it's all together for the her next performance. Was it Houston? Don't remember.

I can't do anymore shows on this tonight either, so I'll maybe watch tomorrow.

Sentencing tomorrow morning...I hope JBP gives her the max to keep her in jail for at least a little longer. It might be to her advantage (not that I care) to let things settle down a bit before she's on the loose.

Yes it was Houston, I live in the west side of Houston. I'm not too fond of my drunken shoot firecrackers all year long neighbors but now they look like angels compared to baby killer. :scared1:

I didn't really care for Jennifer, the juror. She came across in a not so nice way.

Dear Higher Powers That Be ... if I am ever in FL and need to go to the hospital, please don't let Jennifer Ford be the nurse on duty .... Thank you and amen.

I first want to say that I am not a mother yet, because many people who have been quite upset with what I have said about the trial keep saying I am not a mother so I don't get it.

Here is the thing, every single person who is upset about the verdict doesn't get it, because they are allowing their emotions to flow.

The Prosecution could not PROVE that Casey killed her daughter. There was nothing, a tattoo? A few pictures of her out partying ( Do we know exactly when those photos were taken?)

How about the police.....It took them over 6 months to find the remains just a few homes away from the Anthony's?????? If I was on that Jury and this is what I have said from the beginning it all didn't mesh well. There wasn't a motive, no murder weapon either. They don't even know HOW she was killed, so how can you convict without all the facts and evidence.

That is why you MUST by law leave your emotions at the door and look at the facts. That Juror that just spoke said it, they didn't give us enough information.

I also think that everyone is going to be wrong about Casey, she is going to move far away and grieve and be out of the spotlight. She will never be able to have a normal life. I do beleive that Caylee was NOT murdered, I think it was accidental, however, I do also feel that Casey has some mental issues that has to do with her lying and making things up. She may have been competent to stand trial but she DID lie to police.

It's just sad at how many people are now wishing death on this person. There are many Christian people on this board and I am quite shocked to be honest and not just on here. It's actually really sad, that someone would even post it. Because if someone does do this, guess where everyone is going to come looking at WHO it might have been.

Something to think about......

I'm ready to move on, I don't really care anymore. We have alot of other more important things to worry about in this country.

I wish Babs would have asked Baez how he is so certain that his client, a pathological liar, is definitely telling the truth now.

Judge Perry: Have you heeded and abided by all of my previous admonitions?

Jurors: Yes, Your Honor.

Judge Perry: Very good.

Juror #3: (whispering) Whah's a preeeveeeus ahdminishun?

Juror#4: I don't have any idea. You know how I hate to judge things, so I can't even BEGIN to say what it is and I think it's best if I just ignore it completely.

Juror #3: Yeah.....You're smart.

I was going back through some of the old Caylee info I had bookmarked and found this old theory again.

One mom had asked way back (on WS?) that since Caylee loved Spongebob so much (like her own kids did), she wondered if Casey put her in the pink top with the heart on the duct tape over her mouth to do a "let's play you look like Pearl Krabs" to get her to comply.

Not that it matters now of course, I just found that idea interesting enough back then that I saved it and wanted to share it before I deleted it. :goodvibes
