I'm curious about the Jodi Arias case, accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend. Haven't followed it since it happened in 2008, but it's been in the news lately because the trial was supposed to be soon, but is now scheduled for October 17. I think it's her mugshot that they show with her cocking her head and smiling. At first she claimed she wasn't there, and now that it was self-defense. They found a camera in the washing machine with pictures of them having sex, followed by pictures of him dead in the shower, and I think the date/time stamp was very close. His friends have described her as a stalker. She seems like she could be a good pal of Casey's.

Per InSession on FB: Cheney Mason gave Jean Casarez an EXCLUSIVE statement and said, "Casey has maintained notes and memoirs for her personal counseling."

Oh, and for her book no doubt?

And anywhere in her "personal counseling" is Casey A) telling truth, and B) admitting she killed Caylee? Because if you can't be honest to a counselor, or to herself, then there is no benefit. The last thing I said to a relative of mine before cutting her out of my life 2 years ago was "Get help and TELL THE TRUTH." I suspect neither she nor CA will EVER do that.

I've been recording InSession since this morning, so I can fast forward and see what else they have to say about this. Will watch later.

Bill Sheaffer, who provided legal analysis for WFTV-Channel 9 during the Anthony murder trial, called the video a "Casey Anthony classic."

"I think she's narcissistic and that comes out in the video," he said. "She talks about how she is doing and how her life is taking a turn and it's all about her. It's not anything about her parents, her dead child or the misery and pain that her actions caused a great number of people."

He said he's not surprised she selected the video-diary format.

"She doesn't subject herself to any examination, even on a superficial level,'' he said. "It's out now for two reasons: First, [former prosecutor] Jeff Ashton's book doesn't paint a flattering picture of her. Second, she has always been a social person. She's not a loner. This is the first step in putting herself out there and trying to find someone who doesn't hate her and will socialize with her."

Attorney Mark NeJame, who offered analysis for WKMG-Channel 6 during the trial, said he has "no doubt" it's her.

"The content of what she said was so self-absorbed that it could hardly be anybody but her,'' he said. "I think it's orchestrated with the intent to gauge public opinion for future opportunities, and I hope the public is aware of that and rejects anything that allows her to be paid or profit for future appearances. Video diaries are intended to be released to the public. If she wanted to do a personal diary, she could have kept that to herself. This was designed to create a new image of Casey Anthony."

Just hit me...can't you just picture Cindy smiling from ear to ear GUSHING about how good Casey looks, and calm and happy?! Must be a sign from God (you know...like the "not guilty" verdict was ) that Casey is innocent, because Casey could NEVER be so together if she had actually murdered Caylee. And it probably brought a tear to Cindy's eye that now Casey has a puppy to love. Lucky for the puppy Casey doesn't have to test out the chloroform. Wonder if the Anthonys have pets now that aren't getting sleepy from...um..."eating the bamboo" in the yard.

And this was made in October, 3 months after she was released from jail and her lawyers stated that she was dealing with mourning the loss of her child. Yeah, right. She's looking like she's done with that and "all better!" now.

It will be interesting to see what happens when her probation is done and she goes out in the real world. Where? And with whom?

And how long are her lawyers going to drag out her appeal of the lying charges? If I understand correctly, that's what's allowing her to keep mum in depositions in the lawsuits against her.

It's her. JVM is on whatever show is on HLN right now and they just got word that Cheney Mason has confirmed it's her. ICK! And they keep playing it over and over and over again!

Yup, it's her. They were saying on HLN that she looks like she's pulling the cute card. She's very sweet. Blech! I'm loving what most of the commentators are saying about her and the video. Jean Casarez though plays the middle of the road...she's cozy with Cheney Mason, and I don't think she's going to say too much negative about Casey or the video. She chooses her words very carefully. Her kiss-*** interview after the verdict pissed me off. She let him sit there and drone on about what a smart attentive jury that was, when she herself had commented during the trial that they looked bored and inattentive at times. She's all about drinking the Mason Kool-Aid.

They also noted today that there were things muted from the video, like names of people. Mason is claiming that her computer was hacked. If it were hacked by someone totally unrelated, then why would that person protect anyone by muting out any names? And seriously...where'd he get the idea that Casey was totally uninvolved in the release of that video? Because SHE told him?? And we're supposed to believe the word of a lawyer who spun a defense based on the word of the most documented liar around?

I've sworn off wine for a bit. The only way to make it through Christmas with extended family was to drink heavily. I never drink that much in only a few hours and I paid the price the next day. But I can't watch Casey sober, either. What to do, what to do?

Actually, I'm enjoying the negative attention she's getting, EXCEPT for the fact that I believe Casey is someone who enjoys negative attention herself, since any attention is good attention.
