Isn't Silva a mind altering kind of drug? I was an herb that people started using to get high and the state of FL made it illegal in 2008. Interesting choice of names that Casey picked for her pretend doctor.

Was there no Dr for Caylee really? It seems like if there was, the defense would have called him/her as a witness to what a good mother Casey was.

The Dr G special is being repeated numerous times over the next couple of weeks on Discovery Fit and Health and The Learning Channel.

There were never any records from the dr. to state her health at all. The defense just ran with George did it and the jury ran with that. I guess the defense didnt need to prove anything.

Not that any of it matters now, but somehow I missed that Casey made up a doctor for Caylee. Did the child really not have a pediatrician or a family doctor that saw her regularly at least for well visits, even if she really was never sick? Wouldn't George & Cindy have known if Caylee never saw a doc, even for well visits? I guess Caylee couldn't have been on their health insurance, and we know Casey didn't actually have a job so obviously no insurance through that, but as the child of a single mother with no father in the picture, wouldn't Caylee have qualified for state health insurance? If she ever did see a doc through the state, there would be records of that.

In Cindy's 4/09 deposition she said this about Caylee:

Q And did you help contribute for feeding her and clothing her, all that type of stuff?
A Yes, I did.
Q Paid medical bills, I assume?
A No, I never paid -- I think I only paid one medical bill for Caylee, and that was right after Caylee was born.

So I'm not so sure that Casey ever did have any care for Caylee. We know that Casey barely had any (if any at all, I can't remember right now) prenatal care for herself when she was carrying Caylee - she was too busy hiding her pregnancy from her parents. So maybe she avoided care for Caylee too?

The skull fusion info in the post on the prior page speaks about a strong genetic predisposition for the condition. That makes me wonder if Casey herself didn't have some related problems. After all, on the Dr Phil show Cindy said about Casey:

Cindy Anthony also offered a medical theory to explain her daughter's behavior, saying she has a history of grand mal seizures.

"I don't know if she had a seizure that day and blacked out," said Cindy. "I don't know what happened, and that's what I want to find out one day down the road."

Perhaps, Cindy Anthony said, her daughter had a brain tumor or suffers from postpartum schizophrenia.

Or maybe something with her intra cranial pressures?

Any brain surgeons here on the DIS who could help us out?

ASHTON: No, not necessarily because from everyone that we talked to outside of her relationship with Casey, Cindy appears to be a fairly honest, hard-working, well-liked person. It doesn`t seem that`s the nature of her relationship.

If anything, I think it`s the other way around. I think Cindy learned to lie from Casey but is not very good at it. Neither she nor George is a good liar. When they did lie it was obvious they were lying.

I caught the tail end of her video on the Today Show this morning. It's kind of weird to hear her voice. Guess she figures her 15 minutes of fame are fading and this is her way of getting back in the lime light. Just my take on it though. It's creepy I think.

Caught it all this morning... Me, My, I....nothing has changed. Not one mention of Caylee. She's all thrilled that she has something that hers.. Computer, camera & Phone, she can skype!!! And she mentions she paid for her computer.. really? How? Oh and how nice, she has a dog... Poor pooch!

I didn't get to watch the Today show but did they mention where this video came from? How the person who posted it, obtained it? All very fishy... Me thinks they are testing to see how many hits this gets... And what was she saying about audio recordings?

I shouldn't have clicked on it... She is now bathing in the new attention and I contributed. Of course, comes out right when Ashton and Dr G are getting publicity.. Ugh, I feel dirty.

Did you notice where she says "I wouldn't have the phone without xxx"...the name is silenced. Looks like a "J" name, but I thought it looked like "John". Also when talking about the dog and family, something else gets silenced (what word am I looking for?). And again later when she says it's her first video blog and it looks like she's saying that someone else might join her in the next one, and then says "maybe the dog." I guess it could be that the video sound just went out on its own. But it seems to me that someone edited out the sound, so someone purposely did this to show the video.

The people at Websleuths have been on it. From what I can gather, it was on a pay per view site and this HollyandJon loaded it on Youtube so no more money would be made. BUT, viral videos on youtube will make money because of the ads.

Who knows, but to me it smells of Baez reintroducing her to keep reminding people , testing the waters, and waiting to see when the time is right to make his millions off of her.

I agree with you about Baez testing the waters. And I have to say...it pisses me off seeing her so laid back and happy.

I caught a little bit of that video on Good Morning America this morning. Creepy indeed. I refuse to click on anything linked to this. I agree that she/they are testing the waters, using a very common and casual means of communication which people may not feel contributes to her financially.

However, if enough people show interest (by clicking), and they try to make her come across as "normally" as they can... well... Forget it. I refuse. Seeing Dr. G. and Ashton again brings back the anger of the verdict when it was first announced.
