I'm enjoying it! The beginning was just so-so for me because it was a rehash of everything I already knew. Aside from Ashton's marital status and number of kids, there wasn't anything revealing. The 9-11 calls and jailhouse meetings are reviewed and there wasn't a whole lot of extra that was revealed, IMO.
The next few parts have been really good. Getting a good feel on how others viewed Cindy and Casey and their relationship has been interesting. None of that testimony was allowed because it was all hearsay so some of it is new info for me, at least.
I enjoyed Jeff's opinion on Kronk and I have really enjoyed his commentary on Baez. So far, there hasn't been an entire section dedicated to Baez but Jeff's opinion of his unprofessionalism, and lack of ethics are expounded upon whenever he can relate it to the ongoing story. I will be shocked if the FL Bar doesn't bring some charges against Baez. He certainly seems unethical and I haven't even reached the point of the trial yet.
I am not reading it as quickly as I generally read a book only because I know the ending. It isn't like this is any big mystery. But I have found it very interesting to see how the system worked (or didn't work) in this case.
There have been a lot of interesting little tidbits. I will get to something and think, "I need to post this on The DIs." Unfortunately, life takes over and a few hours later other items are clogging up my brain and I have totally forgotten what I wanted to post! I think it is worth the read.
Okay then I will get it. I was afraid it might be a lot of nothing but now that i KNOW he rips Baez then I feel like it might be worth reading.
