Casey Anthony Civil Trials Discussion

If she regrets speaking, why is she still doing an interview?:confused3

exactly...shut up and go away. It's very easy..all the other jurors have done it, even the ones that did speak.

<snipped>

"I think the media helped them to determine what their thoughts are," she says. "I think the media helped to determine the case before the jury saw it."

She just keeps digging her hole deeper and deeper.

Wow..she might need to go visit the neighbors and borrow a shovel. She really needs to keep her mouth shut already.

With each statement, she sounds stupider and stupider. Didn't think it was possible, but it is ....

So I was thinking, seeing as Jennifer's BF threw her out, well maybe there is room on Geraldo's yacht with FCA!!!!!! :rotfl2:

I am really concerned over the whole defense tactic of telling lies and throwing people under the bus to save their client and NOT having to produce any support for those lies...and can't be held accountable for the lies. The fact that they can basically put someone on trial that had nothing to do with it..and he has no recourse just makes me sick. I also have concern over the fact that this jury has all but admitted that they did not follow the rules handed down to them by the judge and again there is no recourse and no holding them accountable.

I don't like the road I see things possibly going down for future trials. Maybe this is already happening in trials but with it going national and actually being able to see this...well, I just think it sets a really bad precedence.

I agree with this completely.

Another thing I see it says, is that the reporters were at her house before she got back from Orlando and she felt like she HAD to talk to them. If their names were not released, how would the media even know who she was or where she lived? :confused3

I would have thought it was fairly easy to figure out in at least some cases. Surely, friends and neighbors were suspicious when someone was "missing" for that long.

Then again, what am I saying, the jurors didn't find it suspicious that Casey didn't report Caylee as missing for very close to the same amount of time. :confused3

Robyn was the jailhouse friend, and just guess who happened to be passing letters between inmates at the jail? River Cruz/Krystal Holloway's sister named Cecelia Benhaida/Skye! She was in jail with Casey, made friends with Casey and passed notes for Casey;)

Those women went to great lengths to tie themselves to this case. The one hooks up with GA and the other passes notes in jail. Real classy women.

WHAT?? :scared1: I never knew The River Boat's sister was in jail at the same time as Casey and was involved in this circus. That is certainly interesting.

I had NO idea about that. That comes across as being extremely suspicious. What are the odds that BOTH sisters were so closely connected to this case? I wonder why the interviewers didn't question her about that?

I also have concern over the fact that this jury has all but admitted that they did not follow the rules handed down to them by the judge and again there is no recourse and no holding them accountable.

Does anyone else get a mental picture that every time the judge spoke, the jury heard Charlie Brown's teacher? Wah, wah, wah, wah, wah.

Or to quote Jose....."Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah." :rolleyes1

:lmao:

They've admitted cause of death was their only interest - and they blundered that too.

So yes I think you've nailed it. More than just when the Judge spoke though, it's crazy to hear somethings they say that never never were put them.

"She has not gotten over the loss of her child, and never will," Mason said.

Oh, boo hoo hoo. Seems to me she was getting along pretty well there for a while. Cry me a river.:sad1:

Pinellas woman regrets serving on Anthony jury

"If she had to do it all over again, Jennifer Ford says, she might not have been as willing to serve as a juror in the Casey Anthony murder trial.

Her boyfriend kicked her out the day after the verdict. Swarms of media have tried to get interviews with her. There has been nationwide scorn for the 12-member jury panel that cleared Anthony of first-degree murder and other felony charges in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

"If I knew then what I know now, I might not have been so honest," says Ford, a 32-year-old nursing student. "I didn't know the whole world was watching and that everyone had their mind made up on what the verdict was. I didn't understand the magnitude of it."

Now, however, she does.

For the woman who in May hadn't even heard about the case when it took two weeks to seat a jury from Pinellas County, it has been an eye-opening experience.

"It's just overwhelming," says Ford, who has lost about 10 pounds from all the stress related to the case.

Reporters were at her house before she even arrived home from Orlando after the six-week trial. The same was true at her mother's residence.

When friends came out of the house, they were under siege from reporters. So was the air-conditioning repairman.

"I was pretty much forced to talk," she says of an interview she gave to ABC News in which she said there was not enough evidence to convict Anthony of more-serious charges. "They wouldn't go away."

If she had it her way, Ford says, she would not have given that interview – in which she returned to Orlando for a chat with a network reporter.

"I don't think you should have to talk about it," she says. "It wasn't my idea. It certainly wasn't what I wanted. I just wanted my freedom. If that is what I had to do, so be it."

Ford blames the media for much of what has happened after the verdict that led to much anger and many protests.

"I think the media helped them to determine what their thoughts are," she says. "I think the media helped to determine the case before the jury saw it."

Ford says she hopes to never again see a criminal case from the jury box.

"I should get a lifetime pass," she says."

So we are to believe that she had never heard of the CA case and lives in Pinellas Cty. :headache: Whatever. :headache:

Translation: I wouldn't have said things on national tv like "we would have convicted her IF there were other charges" since it made me look stupid and like I flipped a coin in the jury room.

And "they forced me to do an interview in return for payment and a trip to DW"

How about being sorry for not looking over the evidence, double checking timelines and actually deliberating about what happened to Caylee based on jury instruction? I think her interview was longer.

Yep, be careful what you wish for.....

Unfortunately, yes I do think that is what they heard. :sad2:

Yeah, looked like she was doing a good job of it just that first night.

That said...leaving in an hour for the airport. Staying off site tonight and then tomorrow checking into the Beach Club Villas. :cool1: So, I won't be on here much since I'll be cavorting with a mouse and his friends.

I heard him say that on one of his interviews, and it made me really angry. He's been in the legal profession for a long time, and I find it very hard to believe that he viewed all the evidence and really believed that she wasn't the cause of her daughter's death.

I will have to say that I do hope he's right about her never getting over it. I hope it's something she regrets for every single day of the rest of her life. She may not be in jail, but there's at least a fair chance that she will never again have a completely peaceful day (but I don't believe for a second that it will be because of her own conscience - she obviously doesn't have one).

Looks like the prosecution messed up big time. This info is out everywhere

Just wanted to add this in no way changes my belief that she killed Caylee---1 (actually 2) or 84 makes not one bit of difference about that baby ending up covered in duct tape, double bagged in a swamp.

Very interesting though...

It also came up on cross examination.

This isn't really anything "new" post trial. But just an attempt to further blame the prosecution for the loss.

I am completely out of my league to comprehend what they found and what they found correctly, so I won't even pretend to try to understand it. My confusion is that it seems there was another software, that was mentioned that did find the 84. (NetAnalysis per the article.)

Sounds to me like it is now pitting one company against the other as well. Because if the one guy can prove the other company has it wrong, well he gets more sales.:confused3 There is no appeal. It just doesn't matter. It seems the defense "corrected" the record that very week.

Smells fishy--and not in a prosecution sort of way.

I don't think this is anything new. I believe the prosecution even questioned the validity of those results and that is why they went with duct tape as the murder weapon.

Right. Now if neck breaking proves false I'll wonder ;)

From what I understand the errors came to the attention after the State retested and the defense brought it out and actually did a good job. The State also acknowledge it iifc. But by the same token I doubt myspace was hit 84 times either. :rolleyes1

Once was enough for me and Cindy lies meant a lot.

Yep, Jennifer Ford just yammers on and on and on....

Can you imagine the agony of being sequestered with this woman? :scared:

I am beginning to understand why deliberations were so brief :rolleyes1

What is in the water down there???????

Was down for lunch (in seeing Nicole - shameless baby mention. :) )

And saw on the news that a fl teen had been arrested for killing his parents

Oh and he through a Kickass party just an hour or so after he killed them.
