The Airborne IS a wonder drug. I just introduced it to one of my bosses a before Christmas when he was pretty sick. I, luckily, haven't gotten sick (knock on wood) since I've quit smoking, started exercising and changed my diet. Man, what a difference being healthy makes!!!

OMG! Caryn, I don't know how you're still standing! Living for that matter. No wait, I don't know how Mark is still living, breathing. I would have killed him. Dead. That's it. Bludgeoned to a bloody pulp with a blunt object. Srsly.

Good decision. I just had another girlfriend email me that she's out b/c she has to go to a conference for work. I totally understand, but I would have guessed that she was out anyhow eventhough she verbally reassured me that she was coming. The fact that she hadn't booked ANYTHING was kind of a giveaway.

This is soooo TRUE!!!!! At times I don't think Chuck even realizes we're getting married!

mark realizes it alright. especially after yesterday. i think he's getting nervous...

If you think that's bad, my DH didn't realize we were "really" having our first kid until I was a week over due and he saw the ultrasound pictures. I've been married 13 yrs and they never get some of this stuff.

Caryn, best of luck to you. for the weather. You're PJ makes me glad that we went with a small wedding and blew the money on a great honeymoon(2 weeks in Germany and Austria, including Oktoberfest )

It's so true that men have no sense of urgency! If it were up to my fiance we'd probably be married when we're 72. But, seriously! That's so funny how quickly he changed his mind about the tux thing. I guess because he realized it was an easier and quick decision? Men will usually take the easy way out.

And to putting your foot down about the RSVP thing. I think I'll be doing that in the near future as well! Try and maybe do something relaxing because all this stress can't be good. Maybe go for a pedicure or a massage?

I love the wine label. It's really nice. I started looking into mini bottles of wine to use as favors for our VR, but I'm having the darndest time finding them. I can find labels everywhere, but not the bottles. I may just go to the local store and buy little bottles and make my own labels to cover the current label.

It really will come together, I promise. Mark's a good guy, he's just a boy and we all know how boys are! CLUELESS . BUT we love them anyway

I just thought of this... for your RSVP's that you're missing - why not leave them a message saying "hi... just thought of you... if I don't hear from you by 5 pm this afternoon, I'll be marking you down as not coming". That way, you gave them the heads up and they HAVE to call you back if they are. And if they're not... you did your thing. Instead of waiting for a call of yes or no. Give them the no, then let them call if it's yes. And set a time deadline. Honestly, if people can't reply, then they obviously don't care enough. If they can't care enough to reply, you shouldn't care enough to pay for them (Sorry, just a bit bitter cuz I know this is going to happen to me).

my uncle in palm bay said it actually SNOWED in fl this week. amazing. it's supposed to be near 80 here next week which is great, i was hoping to get a beach day in before the wedding.

you know what, i thought of that, but then i'm SO OVER RUDE PEOPLE WHO DON'T RSVP that i don't care anymore. unless i know they're coming, they won't know the transportation schedule, locations etc. and they'll be lost.

All I thought of when I read your post about Mark's coat this morning was in Father of the Bride when Franck goes "This tux is NAAHVY blue" . I say let Mark wear whatever he wants. It's his wedding too and it should be his responsibilty to get his own outfit, he didn't supervise you getting yours, now did he? No. So if Mark wants to go without pants, then let Mark go without pants and boy will we have something interesting to talk about after the wedding
It was VERY VERY cold here yesterday but today I was able to run around town only wearing a light sweater and it was lovely. I had a quick thought about your favors and I almost don't want to mention this but: what about people and the airport?!? They can't carry their wine on, it'll be more than 3 oz. I think you might want to try and mention that in your wedding literature somewhere. Or even maybe make little labels that mention that and I'll tie them around the bottle necks or something. (I thought of this while I was reading one of my Disney receipts that reminds guests that they CANNOT carry on their snow globes because it's more than 3 oz of water) Do you know when the wine will be in? Also, do you know if this winery gives tours and tastings? I feel its my duty as a Dis member to taste as many wines as I can and report back to the Dis brides who may want to buy some.
I am also in the process of assembling my day of wedding kit. So far it includes: advil, shout wipes, safety pins, pepto, elmers glue, duct tape (because what can you do without duct tape) deoderant, altoids, lactaid, white chalk, a small sewing kit, and batteries. What am I forgetting? Can't wait to see you for the big day! It's almost here!!

i bought bobby pins today...i have yet to find hairpins. oh, and we need to include my new miracle drug walborn in the kit...it is a miracle worker. seriously. i bought you guys flip flops (i found brown ones at hobby lobby!), i'll decorate them this weekend...i ALSO found you kids shoe clips. they are seriously fantastic. oh, and we need masking tape...i'll post pics of your new stuff later! i'm waiting on the wine. i'm finalizing the label, see below.
