Carry on size?

I'm having a tough time finding a bag to carry on that would easily fit my boxes of FE gifts. I know that the bags have to fit through a scanner. Does anyone know if I could carry one of the 31 larger utility totes? They are about 12"H x 22"W x 10"D. That would work perfectly if I could!

Just to confirm the policy so you need something that will do this.


Alcohol is permitted on board. However, be aware that any fragile items (including bottled alcohol) must be hand-carried on board in a day bag and/or carry-on bag, the dimensions of which cannot exceed 22" wide, 14" high and 9" deep.

Also note the following that is noted on the same page.
Please be advised: Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to remove fragile items (including beverages) from luggage. In such cases, items will be stored and returned at the end of the voyage. Beverage containers are considered fragile and have previously caused damage in checked luggage. All fragile items must be transported inside carry-on luggage.

Yes slight errors on the size.

They are like airport scanners. Most official carryon sized items fit through with lots of room to spare. That's how big carseats can fit through, because there is room to spare.

Thank you bumbershoot! It's a soft sided bag, so maybe that will give me a little leeway if necessary too.

Please use your own judgement, but with that very slight difference and it being soft sided, I'd go for it.
