Yea I have the same question as the other poster, can you get a roll-a-way bed if you have 2 queens or only if you have a king room? Did I read somewhere that some rooms have bunk beds? Thanks for any input!

I'll try to answer it all right here.

CBR has double beds, not queen beds. Yes, you can request a roll-away if you have double beds; if you have a king bed they will NOT allow you to get a roll-away, since king bed rooms have a maximum occupancy of 2 (plus a child under 3 in a crib).

There are no bunk beds at CBR or at any of the other Moderate resorts. I think the only resorts that have bunk bed rooms are Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

the pics of the pirate room looks great. i could do without the big scull on the drape!! How about a big picture of Jonny Depp?? that creeps me out, almost to not want to stay there...

The skull is not on the drapes that cover the window. It is on the "privacy curtain" that separates the sink area from the bed area. Most of the time this curtain would stay open -- it's only there so that you can turn on the lights over the sink without waking everyone else up if you have to go to the bathroom at night.

hahaha I know there are several different pieces of art that they are going to use (I peeked in windows) but we had a Cpt. Jack picture in our room...lol loved it!

Can a Nintendo Wii be plugged into the TV at CBR? We will be having some "off" days while at DW this summer and this could keep my kids entertained when we are relaxing.

Oh Man! We have ressies at Cont-wing but between the construction, the new snack bar, and the location of the snack bar when we want to refill mugs I was looking around. Wanted to stay at Cont-wing because that is the first on-site place DD stayed at and she is 18 now and leaving for college so I wanted to surprise her and stay again but when I started looking around ya'll make CBR sound SO great. But she is taking boyfriend so we need an extra bed since there is no bunk beds so I am already paying extra for them being an adult now extra for roll-away, I guess I need to go price it and see if I will save anything staying at CBR.

One more question - when I looked up CBR during the dates we are going the rooms that have listed is standard, pirate-standard, and pirate-water view, which one would you recommend? Thanks for all the help!

Okay, I am sure this has been asked a million times, but I am hoping that someone won't mind answering it again.

I am thinking of switching to CBR -- for our dates, only a standard view is available with the 4/3 deal. How far might we expect to walk from our room to the food court, main pool? Will we be forever away? Thanks!

It depends on where you are located. Even if you are in Trinidad South it would only be about a 10 minute walk. Since TS is now going to be pirate rooms chances are you wouldn't be there.

Many people like Jamaica or Aruba since it is a short walk over the bridge and beautiful island to the food court and main pool.

You so caught me -- it would save us almost $900 (888 to be exact) to switch from BC to CBR -- you know how I am about saving money.

i hear ya! I'm thinking of switching also...from poly to cbr. would save me $1200! just not sure about the buses with a stroller/14 mth old...
anyone tackled that and didn't think it was bad? we will be there the week of easter...so i bet it will be very busy. hmmmm...what to do!?

We've gone down and used a stroller many times. It's a small pain to have to fold them up for the bus, but really it's not that much more of a pain than having them on the monorail. Have DH do the stroller, DD9 hold the diaper bag, and you hold the baby. It will be fine! Definitely doable to save some serious $$$!

thanks for the response! the new kids water play area looks great for the baby!!...will be a toddler by the time we go...i'm leaning toward switching to CBR!
