I hope you have it worked out by now. But nothing worked for me until I logged out and back in.

I hope you got what you wanted.

System was still staying "error". Had to call in and was on hold for about 30min. BOG was already all booked up:confused3

When I checked in last Friday I left them in our van and the person asked if I had them. I told her I did and she said just making sure and if I had already setup a PIN for charging, which I had.

Okay, we have to pick ours up at check in as they don't ship the bands to the UK, but don't they need to activate the bands with your room number or something? How can they do that unless they touch your bands into the system?

Anyone have any idea what hours the main pool and quiet pools are open in September? With the exception of really late park nights, my kids always want to swim when we get back. Would be nice if the quiet pools were open later so we can at least catch a quick swim if we are back later.

Does anyone know if there is a map out there of the room numbers for Martinique buildings 25 & 26? I haven't had any luck tracking this down yet.

TIA!

As long as you don't make any noise, you can swim in the quiet pools whenever you want.

I have stayed at CBR two times prior (Jamaica and Trinidad South). We are planning a visit again in August. This time we have an infant with us and would like to be close to the food and main pool area. I was looking at a lake/pool view or preferred room. Can someone help me figure out which would be best? Are preferred rooms noisy because they are closer to the action? I'm guessing pool view would be the quiet pools. Is it nice to have the quiet pool so close? Is it really "quiet"? It's only a difference of less than $20 a night between the two categories. What would you go with? Any thoughts? Thanks!

at CBR, the villages are pretty separate from Old Port Royale (main pool food court, etc).. so the preferred rooms are not noisy at all.

the "quiet" pools are actually misnamed. you do not have to be quiet at the pool it's just that it is not the feature pool , so chances are it will be "quieter" than the feature pool and you won't have the .. what hubby and I call.. "yellow jackets" the pool activites directors with the loud pop music, games, etc. I know, a lot of people like that for the kids.... sigh..(must the children be entertained 24/7?:confused3:rotfl:) I miss the quiet, but I digress..

kids are allowed to squeal, have fun, etc at the "quiet pools. but after 10 pm, anyone at any pool s are supposed to respect others and keep it down.

We were in Martinique 25 (preferred) it was one building away from the quiet pool and less then a five minute walk to Old Port Royale. It was very quiet & we'd request it again. Great location, steps from everything including the bus stop.

The full/double beds never bothered us even though we sleep on a queen at home. Were you thinking about bringing an air bed/mattress? If so, I bet that there will still be room for a twin size even with the queen beds. The rooms at the CBR are a bit larger than the other moderates.

No, I was just thinking of more room for us with two little ones running/crawling/playing around in the room. Also a little more space to store the stroller and luggage.

Just got back a week ago. Our trip was the same as every other to CBR. Absolutely perfect. NO rats and NO roaches. Geckos, yes, random bug, yes - it's Florida. Our room was clean, and cleaned every day. Staff were always out and about cleaning.
Buses, only once in all our stays have we ever waited more than 15 mins. The one time we waited almost 30 mins, I picked up the house phone at the bus stop, explained the situation, and bus arrived in less ten minutes. Have never encountered a bus that was so full that we couldn't get on - often had to stand but still got on. We stayed in Trinidad North as it is our preferred location and we love it there.
Good luck.

Great thanks for letting me know. Very reassuring I feel a lot better reading previous reviews. Glad you had a great time now to begin the next one

Wow, our experiences have been just the opposite of that. CBR is our favorite moderate and have never come across rats and cockroaches. A coworker that I had recommended CBR to came back to the office yesterday raving about how beautiful it was.

Again, this has so not been our experience during our total of 34 nights at CBR.

Great thank you for letting me know. Its always a worry when you read such horrible views. After reading everyones reports it seems like all will be ok. Any tips on particular buildings that are better than others. Is it worth paying extra for preferred rooms?

Hey guys-I am looking at flight times and was wondering how long it takes (typically) to get to the airport on the shuttle. The flight times are either very early or late and wondering what would be better. Also, if we have a later flight, will they let us hang out by the pool after we checkout?

If you're using Magiacl Express to return to the airport, your pickup time is 3 hours prior to your flight.

You can use all facilities (pool included) at the resort or go to one of the parks (and use WDW transportation) after you check out.

Bstew - we just got back from Disney earlier this month. We had a 9:00 am flight out, and we had to be waiting for the Magical Express bus at 6:00 am! They will usually tell you 3 hours before your flight!

Quick, quick question; we're an hour away from wdw. Do I have to show our magic bands when we checkin? I need to dig them out of bottom suitcase.

If you set everything up prior (link credit card, establish PIN, etc) on My Disney Experience, you shouldn't have to. If you haven't, then you'll need to do all that at the front desk with your bands.

"Quiet" pools are open 24/7.

The main pool used to be open 24/7 also, once upon a time (I miss that - nothing like sitting in the hot tub after a long day at the parks). Now it closes every night. The time will vary depending on the season. Not sure about September, however my guess would be that it will close either 9 or 10pm.

I've never seen a map that includes all the individula room numbers. If you're looking to actually request a specific room number, I would not recommend that. You're better off requesting general things like 1st or 2nd floor, corner room, close to bus stop, etc.

Thanks guys! I guess an 8am flight time would be a bit out of the question then with a 5 and 2 yo! Especially after the HS MH!

Now....how long after you land at MCO does it take to get to the CBR (typically)??
