I would say those two buildings or the non-preferred Martinique buildings. You can request more than one building...but remember, it's just a request. And many people people feel that keeping the requests to a minimum increase your chances of having them granted.

I asked for a first floor preferred for this year, peferably Martinique 25 or 26. Well, we got 25 (room 2512 to be precise). It was a lovely room; on the inside of a courtyard and we saw so few people going past it was so lovely and quiet. I wouldn't mind being there again!

I took this as we were heading back to the minibus to take us back to Custom House to check out. You can't see our actual room - it was right behind that big tree, dead centre of the shot!



If we came out and turned right twice, it brought us out almost right next to Shutters, so we couldn't have been closer and still been within a couple of minutes of the bus stop!

No, they are in the furthest away buildings from OPR and the main pool. Disney turned them into pirate rooms to make them appealing in spite of the distance, I think.

Looks awesome. This is what we requested for September. Stayed there 3 yrs. ago and was not bowled over it was nice but for some reason we were always walking across the parking lot and I don't recall using the sidewalks. Wierd...I know. This year I intend on seeing the scenery and being close to the main bldg. looking forward to it and with FD it makes it even nicer.

Unfortunately, not even close. The pirate rooms are the farthest from everything, the preferred rooms, the closest.

A week from today we will be checking in at CBR. I can't wait. It has been 9 years since we stayed here. I will defiantly do some spying on what is going on with the refurb for everyone and post pictures if I can!

First off, welcome to the Disboards! You'll soon find that this is a great site with lots of great people.

We've stayed at the CBR almost a dozen times now and get excited every single year like it's our first stay there. I have lots of pictures of the resort in my trip report. Just look down in my signature for the link. I have links to each chapter in the second post.

If you have any specific CBR questions, please feel free to post them. I am sure that at least one of us will have the answer.

We'll be there Sept. 23-28 for my older daughters 7th birthday and our anniversary, which were only an hour apart.

Be our second trip to WDW, stayed at POR last year with grandma. We really loved POR and would have gone back if it was included in FD, but we're really looking forward to trying out CBR, and to doing Disney just ourselves.

We will be arriving by Magic Express. Is the Customs building within the resort? What is the process after check in? walk to find your room or does a shuttle have to take you to your village? tell me more about the inside resort shuttle, is it marked, what does it look like?
