Caribbean Beach FAQ part VI

That is about the time the refurb (which does include queen beds - except in the pirate rooms) is expected to be completed.

I guess I missed the official announcement from Disney about queen beds. I've only read speculation and rumors. Can you direct me to the official announcement please. I'd like to read that.

We reserved a water view room in hopes of getting near a beach and pool area. We'll have two toddlers. Should I call and ask for my request or will a waterview room put us close to a beach area. I'd really like one of the beaches that has a playground.

I feel so lost ! LoL I've been staying at Pop since it opened every year. It's gonna be a whole new experience. A resort I'm not use too

Trinidad North and buildings 24, 25, and 26 in Martinique are all Preferred. If you don't want to pay for Preferred the closest buildings in my order of preference are 22, 45, and 51.

Now I'm confused. When I did online check in, it gave me the choice to request Trinidad North. I only paid for a standard room though, so why would it do that?

I can't tell you why they would offer Trinidad North as an option. All 3 buildings in TN are Preferred.

I don't think that it's been officially announced. I was told by the lead resort supervisor that they would be getting queens when the refurb started in April.

So excited!!! We just booked a short Birthday trip for my DS2. We have not stayed at the CB since our Honeymoon in 2005. My DS is going to love the kiddie pool. Cant wait to read up on this thread and get some great info! :thumbsup2

What time does the feature pool close in the evenings?
I'm thinking of switching to CBR - 2 connecting rooms for our family of 6.
My question - do you think it would be difficult for my request of King room connected to Regular room in preferred section to be honored? I'd be paying more for both room types - and it's imperative with 4 young kids to be connected.

Thanks!

this is a hard question to answer. So many times rooms that are alike are near each other but I honestly have no idea. I think you have an excellent chance of connecting with the family you have so call and ask.

I'd call and request beach. Great idea! My kids love the beaches there still!

My kids love this resort, we're DVC members but when we don't use points, we stay here. My kids LOVE it. The beaches are great and the pool is the best. Enjoy!

Looks like we're heading back to CBR for 2 weeks next March! :cool1:

Hopefully we'll be able to spend lots of time relaxing at the resort and enjoying the pool and beaches and not rush around the parks. Maybe even a water park or two! Super excited!

Can someone tell me if the CB has full size cribs or just pack n plays? We had a crib at the Poly and it was really great for my DS

I was offered this too. Not entirely sure why, but I selected it to see what happens?

Ok so CM just told me there are NO King rooms at CBR?!
I looked at 2 weeks and she said no there are no king rooms at that resort - even though I see them online for both weeks?

There are definitely king rooms at the resort. Maybe, the king rooms are sold out for your dates. But, I agree with BrownMomma7, call back and get another CM.

Call back and talk with someone else.

Agree!:thumbsup2
