Thanks to everyone for all of this helpful information. I was able to get a mid size car from May 26-June 12 (17 days) for $249.10. I used Alamo insider code 7015820 and the $40 off coupon. I am pleased with this rate. What do ya'll think do you think is it a good rate?

I still think you could do better. I have a 9 day rental for $103 midsize. I think yours should still come down. I would still check everyday to see if it changes.

My Alamo rate for a full size car just went to $98.00. My dates are 5/12-5/17. We are picking the car up in MCO and dropping off in Sanford. I have never seen these prices before. I hope it continues as we have a 7-car mini van reserved for our DL trip in July for 10 days.

It's $170 for MIA- 5/29 at 9:00am to MCO- 6/3 at 2pm for a full size. Wish I could get it lower. I'm using the insider code and the $40 off coupon.

Right now I just have booked 5/29 to 6/1 returning to the Dolphin for $83 which I think is good, but I'd like to have the rental for the whole 5 1/2 days. I'm not the biggest fan of ME, rather just be able to drive to MCO on our own.

Staying at the Swan, tomorrow, 8 nights, 9 days. I have an Alamo standard size (becomes full size at MCO), 9 days, $120. 8 nights parking at the Swan, $88 plus tax. I also have a one day, MCO to the S/D for $30 and a one day from the S/D to MCO, $40. Both standard/full. Oh what should I do?

Dan, will you use the rental once you are in WDW or will it sit? If you won't use it a lot, I'd just go with the 2 one way rentals, it saves you money.

MDsMomma - you sure can use it if you have signed up wth Alamo's Insider. Since you have signed up, print out the letter wth your Insider Club number on it. I always take the letter with me, just in case.

I got my minivan thru Alamo Insiders using ID 7015820(20%off) and coupon code AD4027JDO for $181.43 May 14-21. I'm happy with this. I've paid between $200 and $300 before for a week. But I was shocked at how high the rates were when I started looking-they were $700(that was in Jan.). I knew I could do better. Now my DH asks, "What else can you get cheap for our trip?" Alamo just dropped the rates again. I now have a full size from May 7-20 for $163.xx total.

These rates are crazy cheap! I can now get our standard size car May 15-21 for $88.13 using Alamo Insiders ID 7015820(20%off) and coupon code AD4027JDO. I have DH signed up as the Insiders member - will I be able to be added at the exit gate as an additional driver for no charge?

I have been following this thread and re-booking, re-booking, re-booking....

I went from $224.64 on April 14 to $123.43 today. This is for a week and five days according to Alamo. I had an economy, but today the compact was cheaper. One and the same in my book.

Everyone else seems to be getting way better rates than me - im picking up at sanford and using for 9 1/2-10 days and getting 297 for full size which is same price as standard....seems like I should be getting a better deal? Im using the codes.

Must be that location. I even see that the Car Care Center rates are running about $100 higher than MCO. Try priceline a few days before you leave.
