My ressie from 5/29-6/6 is now down to $92 for a compact!!!
Note to Alamo renters-you don't have to cancel and rebook every time your rate goes down. Just "modify" the original reservation. Then when the first screen comes up, take the number/letter combination out of the rate code box and leave that box blank. Leave the corp. id and coupon boxes with the original codes in them. It will bring up the "modified" reservation with the new rental rate. If it is lower, then just choose keep modified reservation.

i thought the same thing! seriously, i'm shocked that national has consistently beaten alamo by a wide margin for all the trips i have planned this year...usually the opposite.

So right now we have a midsize booked for $96.00. I am very happy with but now have a different Insiders code and it would go to about $85. If we book the standard size it would be $92.37. You said they do not have standard at MCO, so we would automatically go to a full size?? Not a bad deal! Still cheaper than the the midsize we currently have, but bigger. And with the Insiders code, we just go to a kiosk? Don't have to wait at the counter? But we don't pick the car like with National Emerald Aisle, correct? Sorry to fire away so many questions, just been a little bit since we have rented from MCO. Used DME or picked up at Dolphin last few trips.
