If you register online as an Alamo insider (it is free to do so), you can skip the rental counter and check in at the computer kiosk and will not be asked to present any coupon or corporate ID relative to your discount codes being used.

OK- I used the BJ's code (7014696) and the $40 Insider coupon (AD4027JDO) and got my full-size, 9 day rental down to $165 total. I think my previous rate had been entered with the Visa code, not BJ's.

Still hoping for a last-minute deal but I can live with this rate very nicely if I have to.

You guys are great!!!! My rates for a midsize at the end of May dropped below the $113. price to $98.. I used my Alamo Insider and the $40 off coupon.

You guys have been so helpful in getting the price down on my Alamo rental for April 29-May 3rd. I cancelled my previous reservation and booked a full size for $111.00, but the price has dropped to $98. Is there any penalty to keep cancelling a reservation, even up to the day of the rental?

Look at the subtotal before taxes and fees are added. My reservation is 1 week midsize car with alamo. pick up - drop off in FLL. Fullsize is $96.50.

Alamo rates dropped again this morning.

Midsize rental for a week plus 4 hours from May 21-28 at MCO using Amex or Costco Codes, Alamo Insider ID and $40 off coupon dropped from $125.12 to $119.04. I wonder if it will drop below $100?

So you're using 3 codes? How do you do that? I've got my rate down to $155 (w/tax) but it's not going down any more. I'm not a costco member and don't have an amex . . . .

Do you have any memberships? BJs, Sams? You can also use a Walmart code that I believe is available to anyone 430710. Put it in the Contract ID (That is for Alamo)

Only one ID and one coupon code can be used per rental.

I believe they probably used the Corp Id for Costco or Amex, and the $40 coupon with the Alamo insider's member number, it's not an additional discount but is Alamo Insider membership is required to use the $40 off coupon

The walmart code should have saved like 10% I think, but maybe it depends on your length of stay or vehicle class. If you want to send me your dates/times and the vehicle class you want, i can try to run it and see if i get a different rate if you'd like!

do you have any play with your times? even going over by 1/2 hr allows you to get a week to use the $40 coupon...i just ran from 4/29 at noon to 5/3 at 12:30 and used the $40 code and got a rate of $85
