can't sleep-leaving today

We fly out at 6 am. I just can't sleep

Last Feb we went to Florida and we were so sick with the flu. One night a POR we were so tired we couldn't walk to the food court. My DBF's mother's dog died when we were down there with her (and her dog is everything), we came home and our cars were towed at the tune of $300 (Weather realted) The list goes on.

Our previous Disney trip my mom ended up in the hospital our first day there. It was hard being fo far away from her even though we came home early. The few days in Disney were a nightmare.

I can't believe that this trip may go off without a hitch. Granted we are staying at POR with POP Warner but if that is the worst part of the trip we'll be fine.

Are you saying you went to Disney last Feb and already had the flu before you left?

I didn't have the flu when we left. I did have a slight cough but didn't really think much of it. It was a surprise trip. I came home on 12/13 and the bags were packed, roses etc and we left the next day. A stop in Vero beach, Key West and Disney. Monday I felt terrible and had to go to a walk in clinic. It was some sort of chest thing. Then the flu hit Tues on the way to Key West. My DBF went on Thurs I think. We stayed 2 nights at Disney and didn't even make it to the parks. It sucked.

This trip will be much better.

Sorry you got sick on your trip Grandson came down sick on his first disney trip with us (in 2002). Took him to the clinic and he had strep throat got a few days antibotics in him and then we took it easy in the parks. It was hard to just hang out in the room for those few days.

Take a deep breath, I'm sure this one will be a great trip. Like you said you will be in the sunshine and not in the snow.

Take lots of pics for us.
