Can't do online check in for Alano!

Stupid website will not let me do it!! I wanted to have everything put in to get out faster but no will not work!!

Sometimes the online check in hits a snag or two. Also, if you are using a coupon or adding an additional driver it will not let you check in online. You can use the kiosk at the airport. Much quicker than the counter. https://www.alamo.com/en_US/car-rental/checkin.html

Why would you check in online with Alamo? I thought *********** members (or whatever we are called now ) simply went to the garage kiosk, told to pick their car, then drive to the booth to check out. Simple, right? or is it more complicated than that at MCO?

There is no kiosk in the garage, they are by the counter inside the terminal. Insiders can also do online check in, but, with restrictions. I think you might be confusing Alamo's Insider program with National's Emerald Aisle program. If memory serves Insiders do have to check in either online, counter or kiosk.

Has anyone had any other recent online checkin issues? I usually use National (with Emerald Club) but have a reservation with Alamo next month. I have the VISA coupon so wasn't sure if I could do online checkin, but my email confirmation includes an online checkin link. If I can skip the kiosk/counter that would be great. I'm an Alamo "Insider" if that makes a difference. Thanks for any info!

Nope can't do online checkin with a coupon. Just go to the kiosk. There are several and I've never encountered a line for them.
