Can't decide on resort

With two teens and you wanting to enjoy resort time I would go with the BC.

We've always centered our trips around MK but with DS getting older and maybe wanting some freedom (Epcot being his favorite park too) I decided BC was a perfect fit. He could walk right into Epcot by himself or with his little sister and BC has the best pool on property.

We are also going at the end of August and staying at the BC. I passed on poly because of construction. GF isn't really my style.

Agree, with the time planned at the resort, age of kids, and park plans, I'd stay with the BC.
Taxi to animal kingdom on the park morning, then head back to Mk or the hotel depending on the evening park.
Stop by bw bakery before your morning walk to HS, then take a break before going into Epcot for the night.
Enjoy the pool on the days off.

lots of factors...mainly how much does $400 mean to you. If you look at it as "we've spent this much, might as well...." then the GF. That said Y&B clubs are my fav!...

Big reason- not just the monorail, but the proximity to MK vs Epcot due to your older children. When I tell people this, they scratch their heads given that Epcot is the more "adult" park... However, Epcot is basically shut down after illuminations- so 9 pm, then the resorts are shut down by 11. At the GF- when the MK is often open later- much is open till midnight and even a few 24 hour options. I really enjoyed that's last rup as now the kids are getting older, we're staying in the parks later into the day.

Thank you everyone for the replies. You guys gave me so much to think about when making this decision. I've decided to go with the Grand Floridian we won't be back at Disney for awhile so I decided to just go all out for this trip and the fact we plan to spend hopefully emh in MK and Epcot at night.

For those who have stayed at GF, are daybeds guaranteed? Since I have opposite sex teens I need 3 beds.
