cancelling a SW flight

I booked a SW flight to St. Louis a few days ago and have found a better flight with another airline that takes me straight to MCO two days earlier! I want to cancel the SW flight, but need the confirmation #, but don't know where to find it on my ticket. Also, I have my papers already from ME, but now that I may be coming in two days earlier, I need to make a change. Do I just call them? I haven't booked my flights yet.

Your confirmation # will be in the email you got from SW. It will be 6 letters / numbers.. Unless you paid for business select (full fare pricing) you will get a ticketless travel fund credit that you can use within one year after the original booking of your flight, not today or the time of your flight. Yes, just call DME and give them the updated info..
