cancellation policy question

So, I have been trying to get CRT for our last minute trip but no luck yet... My question is this: say I reserve another restaurant for dinner (before I leave for the trip) but that day (when we are at WDW) I ask concierge if there are any openings and then there is an opening for CRT.... If I take the new opening at CRT will I be charged for canceling the other reservation??? thanks

I don't know that anyone would have personal experience with that yet, but if your original reservation is one of the credit card guarantee places, I'm guessing they will charge you for the last minute cancellation, even though you're booking a different location.

I would book a place that doesn't have the CC guarantee, then you won't have to worry about it if you have to cancel if your CRT becomes available.
