Cancel flights?

Can you cancel a flight without penality and for full refund within 24 hours of booking? We don't fly much but seems like Delta use to be this way. Of course I booked a flight and sure enough the as soon as I did they dropped the price on another airline significantly

You can cancel within 24 hours of booking on Continental if you booked with your onepass number. Not sure what airline you booked with. You can also change flights departing on the same day. I have done that too within 24 hours of original booking.

With Delta you have 24 hours to cancel with no penalty but after the 24 hours there is a charge fee with Delta.

Just got off the phone with Airtran and they only have a 4 hour cancel window, Oh well Don't it always happen that way.

It all depends if your ticket is refundable or non-refundable. If you're holding a non-refundable ticket that allows changes, you won't get a refund, but you have one year from the ticket's original issue date to reschedule your travel without losing the full value of the ticket (less any applicable change fees). If you booked the lowest possible fare, then most likely your ticket is non-refundable. .
